Travellers' Choice
Premier Inn Hotel Maidstone (Sandling) is just a stone's throw away from the centre of Maidstone, so we're very handy for business or pleasure. And, with our own lovely beer garden sitting alongside the river Medway, you'll find the time and space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Marvel at the perfect reflection of Leeds Castle in the moat that surrounds it. Or take a trip to Chatham and see historic warships and even a submarine. Stretch your legs on the glorious Kent Downs, then return to tasty food in our Beefeater restaurant, and a lovely comfy bed in your room.

We have stayed here twice in the last 3 months, the latest time in October. Quiet and comfortable rooms with good facilities. No aircon, so might be hot in summer. Had a meal in the restaurant in October. This was very tasty (BBQ pork rib and chicken). Lighting rather dull and the music was a bit intrusive. The meal (fish and chips) in August was served outside right next to the Medway, overlooking the canal. Again tasty, and a very pleasant setting too. Good parking, lovely staff. Interesting local attractions. Well worth a visit.

We were asked not to check in until 3pm for a thorough clean of the room. The room looked as though it had not been cleaned. Cob webs on the ceiling and blood stains on the pillows. After the first night the Beefeater next door shutdown for parts. We had to find an alternative place to eat which wasn't easy due to the location. Would not recommend this Premier Inn.

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your review. We’re very sorry that you had a disappointing stay with us recently due to cleanliness issues. This certainly isn't the experience we would expect for you. We’ve ensured this feedback has been logged to the Hotel Management team so that they can look into these issues with the team to prevent this experience from being repeated again in the future. In future, our Reception team are on hand 24/7 and so we would advise speaking with the team as soon as any issues arise to help resolve this whilst you're still in-house. Thank you for taking the time to contact us and we hope we can welcome you for a more enjoyable stay in the future. Kind regards, Megan
