We had a truly lovely stay here - the hotel is in wonderful surroundings and only a stones throw from the centre of Tewkesbury and all it has to offer. The staff were outstanding in their attention to detail - particularly Restaurant Manager Daniel. We had a lovely room overlooking the countryside with a little outside patio - blankets were provided if you wanted to sit out in the evening which was lovely touch. We didn't play golf but we did use the pool, steam room etc which were lovely. The food was excellent on both nights and for breakfast - with certainly the best chips I have had for a long time - they were actually crisply like chips should be (most advertised as triple cooked are obviously triple cooked in the oven - ugh) - but all the food was excellent and the waiter was attentive and friendly - with suggestions of where to visit as well as recommendations for the food. To be honest the only minor fault I can find is that the cheese course was served from the fridge - I know it is difficult to manage but cheese should always be served at room temperature and I had specifically said I was having the cheese when we first sat down. But they did change the icy plate for a warmer one! But this was a minor blip in what was a really lovely 2 night stay - we will definitely be coming back!…
What a lovely hotel I went with a group of ladies on a golf break. We had a.superb stay all the staff without exception were so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious well presented and the right portions for our group. A completely enjoyable stay. The golf course was enjoyable and interesting one of the best I’ve experienced at a hotel. Lovely spacious rooms very clean and comfy beds without a doubt.
On Wednesday my friend and I ate from the bar menu at Tewkesbury Park Hotel and we shall be returning. I used to live in Tewkesbury and many years ago enjoyed family Sunday lunches in the restaurant, so on Wednesday it was going down memory lane. The bar staff could not had made the experience any better and I finished with the best Irish coffee I have ever had. I have had plenty and this one was a nod to my Irish mother. Thank you
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Tewkesbury Park for one night, having an evening meal, and breakfast. We didn’t play golf or use the spa so can’t comment on those parts. The hotel is set in stunning grounds and feels very peaceful and relaxing. Our room was beautifully decorated and facilities were perfect, very comfy bed. I think our room maybe one above the basic rooms I’m not sure, but couldn’t fault the room at all. It also had a small terrace with chairs to relax. We both had a great nights sleep. Food was very tasty, interesting a la cart menu, and breakfast was perfect, had everything you could wish for. Service in the restaurant was also very very good. Lovely views outside of the grounds from the restaurant. The decor in the main areas are the hotel are excellent and high quality. Really enjoyed the interior design. The only minor downside to our experience were some In some of the corridors, the paint was a bit poor in places. Not the end of the world but as it’s part of the customer journey travelling around the hotel it’s worth mentioning. On arrival at our room though, we were really impressed. With slight imperfections above fixed it would be an easy 5/5, overall though we did love the hotel and service, will happily recommend to others.…
What a lovely hotel, amazing location, terrific staff and scrumptious food. We had a superb stay, all the staff without exception were so friendly and helpful nothing was a miss. A completely enjoyable stay. Meeting up with Chef Anuj and taking a trip down memory lane is something I will cherish. All of the amenities and facilities were carefully managed by the help of Mr Patrick Jones. Thanks, Jiwan Lal

Booked afternoon tea for a Birthday Celebration at the Tewkesbury Park Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to see the facilities and grounds were to a very high standard. The tea, snadwiches and especially the sweats were exquisit. I would really recomend Tewkesbury Park for afternoon tea or a special occasion. I would like to thanks all of the staff for their warm welcome and service. Exceptionally friendly and very socialble. What an absolute perfect afternoon tea and delightful staff. Well done Tewkesbury Park I will recomend you and see you very soon as I would like to experience a lot more of what you have to offer. Kind Regards Richard (Booked under C. Marshall)
What a fantastic venue with amazing views, and really friendly helpful folk looking after us. Rooms were great, food 5* and facilities for everyone. You genuinely felt there was nothing that couldn’t be done for you. Great places to go for a lovely evening walk before the meal.
We arrived yesterday the box lunch snack was fabulous. Bar staff exceptional! Very polite. Then we went to our room ! All clean - However the bathroom was average hence the star rating - no flannels - one towel and one hand towel each! Asked a Member of staff for more and they obliged. Shower over bath no anti slip mat - shower screen not big enough - water flooded bathroom floor - ! We had a twin bedroom ! The beds well worn it felt like our pillows were in a hole ! Booked a taxi to go into town ! Ten minutes late and then totally moaned all the 1.3 miles and advised we can’t bring you back ! So we had to walk it back (not a problem). Shame because the restaurant is good the rooms need to be updated
The hotel has a fabulous setting but is in need of a little attention in places.our room was beautiful, ‘Touch of Class’room, and the Prosecco on arrival to the room was lovely. The room was beautifully clean but could do with a lick of paint in places. The outside areas were in need of attention, like random wooden pallets just left around, peeling paint areas, and broken umbrellas. The bar was somewhat disappointing, didn’t even sell Bacardi! The lack of air conditioning in the restaurant was a problem for me as it was way too warm in there, so glad we weren’t there last week with the high temperatures. The food was lovely, however, the choice was a little limited. Wan, the waitress, is a credit to the hotel, absolutely lovely. Enjoyed the pool and the hot tub, although could do with a tidy up. The hotel is advertised as a luxury hotel, but I would disagree, I would say more like a 4* hotel.…
