We spent one night here on our way up North. A comfortable hotel and good breakfast. Well placed in the centre of Tewkesbury. Would like to have stayed longer and explored all the wonderful historical buildings. There isn't a restaurant but a nice Italian one next door

You couldn't get a better hotel in Tewesbur for the price we paid for this one, infect one hotel we looked at was over double the amount we paid to stay here, so the money we saved was used as spending money!. The hotel itself could do with a bit of decorarting in places but apart from that it was...

Does what it says on the tin, as stated on the website this is a no frills Hotel which is excellent value for money. The building is old and the floors creak and there is no double glazing but that is part of the charm. Brian and his staff were most helpful, and breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. Bed...

Nice small hotel on the main street - good facilities in the room and friendly accommodating staff. A good choice of breakfast. Convenient off road parking attached to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to others, but not if there are mobility issues as the staircase is narrow and no lift.

It was my youngest sons birthday and we could not think of anything to purchase him, my husband and I have spent many happy nights staying at the abbey hotel so we paid for him and his fiancé to stay for a night, they absolutely loved it, they loved the room, the staff and the breakfast !

I have stayed at the Abbey Hotel several times. It is convenient, comfortable, there is plenty of parking space, breakfast is good and it is outstanding value for money. It is an interesting old building. The decor of some rooms is a bit tired but I can still highly recommend it.

Stayed here whilst visiting the beer festival. The hotel is nice and quirky as it says in the description, not a sterile chain. Location is superb, really close to town but not noisy at all. As everyone else has mentioned the breakfast is great, freshly cooked by a lovely lady. I had the vegetarian option and my husband the full...

I can recommend the Abbey Hotel. It is central to town and the staff are very friendly. My room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I think that it represented good value for my 2 night stay and I will visit again. (in fact I am visiting again next week!)

“Ask for room eight it's large and quite, you do get the noise of the extracter fan occasionally but not all the time and it's turned off about 11, but I'd rarer have that than the noise from the raffia as its on the main road though Tewkesbury.”
