Everything about this room was fantastic. It was modern, spotlessly clean and comfy. The bathroom was ace. The hotel had everything you could need and more. I loved my stay here and would be back in a heartbeat. The breakfast next morning was fantastic. The staff were polite and helpful. The bed and bed linen were fantastic quality. We would have had a perfect nights sleep had it not been that unfortunatly there was a bad accident outside our room that night causing us to wake. It was of no fault whatsoever of the hotel. This place is simply GREAT.
We stayed here for two nights recently and we can honestly say the staff were the best we have ever dealt with in a hotel. Special mention to receptionist, always friendly, smiling and helpful. Also very good at finding my husbands glasses when he mislaid them!! Also the young man who served us breakfast, again very attentive, so pleasant and nothing too much trouble. Room was spotless, bed so comfortable, towels generous size. I could go on and on. Will definitely be back.
I stayed in the Margaret Beaufort room at the Tudor House Hotel - it was absolutely stunning and so so comfortable. The hotel is very well situated for exploring Tewkesbury. The Abbey is a five minute walk and many pubs and shops are even closer. I found the staff to be especially helpful, friendly and accommodating. I had breakfast included within the room rate and I was blown away - their vegan breakfast was so delicious! My whole experience felt really enjoyable and especially good value for money. I would absolutely stay again!
Stayed here a couple of years ago as a last resort, so couldn't believe the transformation when I arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. Clean and bright throughout and the accommodation of a high standard. A lovely breakfast served by cheerful staff. Would stay again if ever in Tewksbury
We specifically chose The Tudor House Hotel for our 20th Wedding Anniversary because of its beautiful decor and dog friendliness. On arrival in our room we were greeted with a doggie bag which included dog treats and a toy as well as a lovely Tewksbury postcard wishing us 'Happy Anniversary'. We do not travel anywhere without our 2 Frenchies and they couldn't have been made more welcome at this beautiful historical hotel. Great area for dog walking along the river Avon (which we also took a cruise down). The food in the restaurant was delicious and top quality and we were also given complementary Anniversary drinks. The staff are super friendly so we couldn't recommend the Tudor House Hotel any higher!
Stayed for one night at this beautiful hotel. The building is fantastic - authentic Tudor character with modern comfort. The room was lovely, high spec, really comfortable and clean. Very smart bathroom with top class toiletries. A lovely touch was classical music playing in our room as we arrived, along with a personalised welcome note from the housekeeping team. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Both our evening meals and breakfast were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel and we definitely plan to return.
What a beautiful hotel, we had the four poster room which was stunning. We had a three course meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Lovely wine list and service at dinner and breakfast was wonderful. I have nothing but positive comments about this hotel and will be returning in the future and recommending to family.
The star rating does not do justice to this establishment. I have stayed in many hotels with a higher rating that were not a patch on this one. Great room, great shower and a great bar, oh, and the staff were super friendly
We had a three night break at the Tudor House Hotel and it was lovely. Staff were really nice and very friendly. Rooms were cozy with lots of nice touches such as bottled water, nice toiletries and lovely tea and coffee. The food was lovely and we ate in the restaurant a couple of times - breakfast was also very good. Car park is a bit tricky to get in and out of when it's full but we did ok. Would definitely return.
A lovely one night visit in the lovely town of Tewkesbury. The room was superb, immaculately clean and well furnished with antiques but with a modern bathroom. Although our room was face the main High Street, the secondary glazing meant we were not too bothered by the noise of traffic. Lovely staff- cheerful, chatty and helpful. They'd run out of Roast by dinner, which limited the evening menu, but not a disaster! My husband enjoyed his full English breakfast...
