Stayed there first week in January 08 the hotel was almost deserted.Greeted by lovely lady in her jeans and jumper behind the desk (!).Room very large but very used, scuff marks everywhere and carpets not looking too good.I found that the cleaning people missed 2 cans of lager hanging from the window from the previous occupants.Bathroom was ok except the tiles...

We stayed here on a Saturday night while driving round the Cotswolds looking for a wedding venue. We just wanted somewhere cheap and clean because we would arrive quite late a leave early. I chose this particular one simply because it said it had showers instead of baths – which I always prefer. The room was perfectly nice (see the...

I am staying at the Sleep Inn in Tewksbury whilst on business for just under 3 weeks and can I say what appalling service I encountered. For my first week:- • The air conditioning was not working properly and therefore my room was very cold for the majority of my stay. • The client where I was working received a...

The staff was very helpful, and the room was very nice. The breakfast (included) was good. This is a very nice hotel and was the cheapest of the 10 places we stayed during our vacation in Great Britain. On the slight downside, they charged 35 pence for each call made on our calling card, and we had to request new...

.....I'll tell you how many - about 200, well thats how it seemed. We had to stay somewhere at short notice, this place looked okay. It really, really isn't. Got full of kids by about 6.30pm. Told we couldn't eat unless it was at 6pm, because the kids were eating. Had to wait until after the kids had gone to...

I stayed two nights in March, paying a premium for an "executive room". My advice is don't bother upgrading, as the only difference is a slightly larger bed (which is actually two single beds fastened together). The rooms are large, but apart from that, there isn't a lot to say. You get a shower (no baths), a flimsy duvet ,...

There seemed to be some surprise on arrival when I said that I'd booked 2 rooms, but the receptionist sorted the matter out quickly. Got an excellent rate of £44 per room per night including breakfast. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean. The only complaint was that it was possible to hear the people in the room above walking...

Stayed here on Friday & Saturday nights. The room was very clean and had everything you need from a hotel. Beware of the scrambled egg at breakfast though! Recommended hotel!

Excellent, really first class, travel-lodge type of accommodation. The rooms are big, brand new, spotlessly clean, and quiet. The bar/restaurant/cafe area is very adequate for the purpose intended. We paid £20 for a double room on a room-only basis, and this was a great bargain. Highly recommended!

A Problem Created and Solved By A Pleasant Place to Stay We stayed at the Sleep Inn, Tewkesbury over night in early August, 2006. We had just ended a two week Cruise and this was our first night ashore of our extended vacation on way to York and other UK destinations. We arrived by car at about 6:30 PM. It...
