Having grown up in Solihull the St Johns was always the best place for visiting relatives and friends to stay, it was also the place for for weddings and functions for many people in the area.... sadly that is no longer. I stayed at the hotel this month after being on business in the area and thought I would give...

Hotel visited whilst at a work conference. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. Room was a long way from reception. It was adequate but definitely seen better days. Bathroom old fashioned and tiles needing attention.

Stayed for 1 night, good location for NEC , rooms spacious and clean, fab power shower, bit of a rabbit warren to find your room, breakfast very expensive but plenty of options in town close by, otherwise good all round stay, would use again.

I have been staying in this hotel for 3 years. Although the hotel is ideal for me, I have noted a dramatic deterioration in management. In my opinion, there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The manager should be ensuring the hotel is running smoothly by making random visits to the hotel early in the morning to see...

The room was lovely, with a very huge bed. I could not have breakfast due to surgery, but my husband said it was lovely. The room was clean and had a good wifi signal within. Lovely reception staff. Very good deal!

Stayed here overnight with our border collie a week ago, we had a very comfortable large, dog friendly room, it was very quiet, at a very good price (£20 per dog per night) and lovely friendly, accessible staff everywhere. Reception staff told us that over Crufts week they had 60 dogs staying! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for just one night on Saturday, and I can honestly say we didn't experience any of the below problems. Granted, we didn't have evening meal, but breakfast was absolutley fine. Requested poached eggs, no problem, Husband had fried eggs, very good, dish was replaced very regularly. Sausages were of a good standard, and the bacon was of...

I stay here sometimes for work and it's in a good central location. There is loads of parking and the rooms are pretty good. The restaurant food is of a good standard but service sometimes slower than I would expect.
