Stayed here while walking the Ribble Way. The room was a suite with four poster bed, sofas, large bathroom TV , hi fi etc. Afternoon tea was ready in my room when I arrived. Breakfasts are continental style so those who like a full cooked breakfast might be disappointed but it didn't bother me. A little on the pricy side...

My partner and I stayed here in November for one night and stayed in the Ribble Suite. On arrival we were welcomed into the owner's quarters and provided with a cup of tea. Whilst the owner was clearly very hospitable and friendly, I wasn't completely convinced by this approach. I wasn't best pleased either to twice be asked whether I'd...

Recently stayed at this B & B. It states its an award winning 5 star accommodation which I wouldn't say it is. The breakfast is complimentary which if I am honest wasn't the best and I think the owners should either leave the breakfast or offer a more substantial choice and charge for it. The idea of having to heat...

The extra touches and attention to every detail make for a perfectly pleasant experience. My husband and I were greeted by the housekeeper who explained the owners were away for the day, but by no means did we feel put out by this like some reviewers on here. We were offered liquid refreshments on arrival and discovered a lovely little...

Sarah B, Owner at Riverside Barn, responded to this review

This review was given by the wife of the last review after her husband called us at 7.25 in the morning to say he was annoyed that we had responded to his review. He called on the Sunday shouting at my daughter who said the owners were out until late. When I rang him back at a reasonable hour when...

My wife and I wanted a relaxing romantic night away. We expected views of the river from our room which is not the case. Arrived at 4pm, greeted by a young man who basically opened the door to our room and said he would be back soon with fresh milk and breakfast menus for us to complete. After 30 minutes...
