More style than substance. On arrival we had to wait for staff member go come from anither hotel. We were then shown to the Library room, which seemed small but ok. We could hear everything from the next door room. And soon realised this was not the luxurious room we paid for. No where to sit and di your hair and no plug next to the Mirror. The shiwer was broken and could nit have the heat turned down, so had to wash in the tiny bathroom sink. After returning from dinner the door would not open and had to be shoved to finally gain access. Did not feel safe at all in this hotel....not worth the money

A great place to stay the appartments first class the Staff very very helpful and friendly. The location superb we had two young children and with the parks so close to the hotel made it a superb location. Special Mention to Avenham Park great place with a Japanese Garden we where fully entertained on the Sunday by Melodrama a traveling show with Classic Guitarist,Latin Dance class, A Female acrobat performance, A school dance performance and the foil sheet figure making workshop which we took part in was brilliant. I will book the Winkley Hotel to stay again on my next visit from New York USA. The Fishergate allowed us to eat at some great places . The Greek Olive Branch resturant won us over great service the food superb we cleaned all our plates the Thursday double cocktails drinks was a real surprise wow even the owner came over and had a nice chat with us made us feel special. Preston was'nt our first choice but after this it will be. Thank You

Had a lovely night at Winkley Square Hotel (just off Winkley Sq actually). Beautiful place and good location near station and Avenham Park, a true jewel of Preston city centre. High spec design and features lovely, spacious bed and room with convenient kitchenette and perfect designed bathroom. My room was the Den which is up on the 3rd floor with a slightly snug staircase- so pack lightly/ small. A nice touch of complimentary breakfast items in the room and tea, coffee etc. Was just a bit hot with no air con on an unusually warm night. The fan helped a bit.

I was staying in Preston for Business and I stayed in the Bond Apartment - My fan broke in the evening and John the concierge came across from their sister hotel to bring me another one within half an hour! He was friendly, polite & had amazing customer service skills. I will be going back and trying out some of their other rooms in my own leisure time it was that good! Thank you so much John for stopping me from melting! Martin was also fantastic taking my call this morning re my early check out - all around win win.
