We finally got round to staying at the place. Welcoming smiles. Sizeable warm room. Comfy bed. Good shower. Friendly staff. Great beers. Nice wine. Hearty breakfast. Caught bus to Lancaster in pub car park.

We have driven past this restaurant many times and today thought it was about time we went in. We were not disappointed! Nice atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff - we'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

We stayed in room 8 with a nice view over the countryside, and the road. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were lovely biscuits each day, good quality chocolate drinks and branded teas and coffees. There was a good sized shower en-suite- with nice fluffy towels. We enjoyed our stay and fully recommend.

However, there is a But - The place could do with a good clean. Tables etc were clean but you can tell its given...

The food was reasonably good and well enough cooked, but not imaginative. My husband enjoyed a fine pint of beer, but my...
