I love visiting this place: great service, full of character, will soon be a free house, lots of fun locals to chat with, resident dog, excellent pub quiz on a Friday night. I'm making it my regular local for drinks.

Beautiful food, excellent service. Best Sunday roast in ages, and my son loved his good enough to eat a starter, main and pudding ( no mean feat for a seven year old!). Lovely family evening out, would def eat here again!

Driving past, car park very busy (good sign). Went in and met with warm welcome from staff that actually are attentive. Two Sunday roast beef lunches, delicious, meat was falling apart tender, all veg was hot, yes hot and cooked just as we like, slightly crisp, home made yorkshires, yum. 1 pint and two halves, bill was £22. Highly recommended....

Whilst driving around the area looking for somewhere to stop for food we passed the bridge inn and said to ourselves we'd head back there if we didn't find anywhere that looked more appealing in the Wray/Wennington/Bentham area. After exploring nothing took our fancy as much as The Bridge Inn so we decided to head back. As soon as we...

Excellent food we had the Sunday roast it was fabulous, didn't have room for pudding and shouldn't have ordered but did - had "home made" sherry trifle but have a to say you can drop the "sherry" as there wasn't a hint of sherry at...

This is a hidden gem. Just outside Wray is a lovely old pub with good food at a reasonable price. The staff and customers are very friendly. Reccommended for a lovely day out, or for walkers. I live about 15 miles away, and yook a friend there last week, she is now going every week, it is so social and...

I thought it was about time to review my local Country Pub which is Brilliant! It is a proper Pub and its only minus is that it is in Lancashire and not Yorkshire where I live, albeit only 3 miles away. I have been there many times over the years and it has never failed me, the Food is excellent...

A lovely old fashioned pub with a homely friendly atmosphere . The food was varied and plenty of choice. I had the special chicken and leek pie followed by a mixed berry pavlova scrumptious, highly recommended if passing.

Quaint little pub that was very friendly and homely. There was a lovely open fire and our dogs were made very welcome. The food was good and wholesome and plenty of it. We stayed at the caravan site attached and would recommend to anyone who wants a decent well kept pint and a hearty meal. We'll be visiting again!

This is our 3rd visit over a fair period of time and each time the food and service has been spot on. Very small pub area so limited tables for eating but they do have a dining room too though haven't been in to see it. Good menu and also specials board. Food served piping hot. Lovely veg Very generous...
