We chose Charingworth Manor as it looked like a lovely hotel for a couple of days away walking in the Cotswolds. It was great to be able to take our dog with us too. Spacious and well equipped room with direct access to the well tended grounds. We brought our dog's crate with us so she could stay there while...

We came here for our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised by the long driveway through the grounds up to the manor. We were welcomed with a complimentary cream tea by the log fire which was lovely. The spa facilities (pool sauna and steam room) were very well kept. The only downside was we couldn't really relax with quite a few...

My husband and I did not feel that a room in the annexe was worth £200 per night. The bed was very small with no space on either side and not particularly comfortable. However, the staff were brilliant and the food absolutely superb. Lovely swimming pool.

Dear Guests I'm sorry you were disappointed with the size of your room, most of our rooms here at Charingworth including those in the converted barns and stables do have larger king or super king beds, including some of our classic standard bedrooms. I do hope we can welcome you back again and do speak with me directly and we...

We had a lovely full afternoon tea here. Amply filled sandwiches, freshly baked scones and the profiteroles were the highlights. Staff were welcoming and really helpful, creating a relaxed ambiance. Renate merits our particular thanks. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, with sweeping views of the Cotswolds. It is a historic building, which is comfortable, without being 'systematised'. The...

Having stayed at the Charingsworth Manor last night I can say it is an idilic setting for a weekend break. The food is amazing, all the staff friendly and our room (The Warwick) was something special. It was perfect for our annual girlie getaway and I highly recommend it!

We hosted our daughters wedding at Charingworth this weekend and wanted to say thank you for all the hard work and attention to detail put in by the staff. We can highly recommend this venue which is in the most beautiful setting and has a gorgeous reception room (the orangery). All the preparations prior to the big day were put...

We stayed at Charingworth for two nights celebrating our wedding anniversary. The hotel is a lovely old Manor House, on top of a hill in large grounds with great views. We enjoyed our room - upgraded to 4 poster- and had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Looks like a great place for a wedding. The staff were very attentive,...

We we kast at this hotel about eight years ago and left disappointed- hence did not return. ( Staff were off hand, food so so and dead flowers on table) However this time, every thing was very different. Most helpful staff, room basic but clean, lovely indoor pool. Dinner and breakfast was excellent and complimentary cream tea, a real treat....

My wife and I treated ourselves to afternoon tea after a shopping trip to nearby Broadway. The original parts of the manor are built of honey-coloured Cotswold stone and date back 700 years. At the rear of the hotel are some sympathetically built extensions - a function room, leisure complex and spa. Our tea was wonderful - a choice of...
