The accommodations were the best, breakfast was superior, and Chipping Campden was a quaint village. Carole was an attentive host and Les’ knowledge of the area added to his transfers. We wished we had used Les for a tour. We will stay again on our return to the Cotswolds.
Les and Carole are just wonderful people! The B&B is great too, with comfy beds, spacious rooms, great breakfast, spotlessly clean throughout. Carole and Les went above and beyond to be welcoming, informative, personable hosts as we began our Cotswold Way hike. The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from Chipping Campden's High Street and the start of the Cotswold Way.
We had a pleasure of staying two nights in this guest house hosted by Carole and Les. Both where super friendly and a fountain of great information. Place was immaculate. Very happy to recommend this lovely guest house.
Carole and Les are the kindest hosts/owners of this immaculate B AND B…….. we listened to Rick Steve’s advise and went with this one for our little family of 3. Les was our private driver for two full days and accommodated us in every way. Carole had great communication with us and answered all our questions. We can’t wait to someday come back to the Cotswolds and stay here at Cornerways. The upstairs room was huge and so pretty with good views out all the windows. Highly recommend. ❤️
Lovely quaint place to stay in the centre of Chipping Campden, breakfast good quality and very decent coffee. Family run business and very happy to help and suggest places to visit and eat locally. Gorgeous place and gorgeous people, lovely stay.
We needed two nights over the weekend in March, and were told of this b&b , and we are very glad we booked , this is as every review says is a most comfortable, welcoming, restful and superbly sighted to get access to the hotspots on Chipping Camden, the High Street is literally 100m away. The hosts are delightful. Knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, and the local places to visit as well as the many hostelries and restaurants around. The bedroom was roomy, warm and comfortable, the breakfast area was light and spacious, the Breakfast was superb. We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay, very well priced, we will certainly be returning in the future.
The location is perfect- a one minute walk through an archway and you’re on the Main Street with pubs, shops and restaurants. However, you sleep in a quiet and restful home. Everything about the Cornerways was welcoming- from Carole greeting you and showing you around to her recommendations about the town and area. The room was very large with lots of light and a seating area. Having free parking in the driveway and strong WiFi made it easy to plan and visit the area. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had, with a warm welcome and smile from both Carole and Les. .There was a fruit, cereal and juice bar besides a hot, made to order breakfast. The home has a common room with soft furniture, reading materials and travel guides. Ask Carole about Rick Steves knocking on her door. She proudly displays his books which I know contain his well deserved excellent recommendations about the Cornerways. Stay at the Cornerways, you will be glad you did.…
Rooms are spacious, clean, and we loved the welcoming strawberry and shortbread! Breakfasts were delicious. Plenty of fresh fruit and choice of cereals together with a good choice of freshly cooked breakfast. It was nice to be able to choose what we wanted at breakfast time rather than the night before ( which we have found in many b and bs.). Cornerways is in a great situation very close to the high street in beautiful Chipping Campden. The owners,Carole and Leslie, were very welcoming. It’s the perfect base for exploring the cotswolds.
We can only echo all the other comments, Carole & Les are superb hosts. They couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. Our room was spotless with lovely bedding & plenty of clean towels. Breakfast was delicious with vegetarians well catered for. Great location for exploring the town, lots of places to eat & drink, we ate at Da Luigis which was also excellent. Also a great location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds.
Carole and Les really know how to make you feel at home and welcome in theirs! The location is perfect with the shortest of strolls into the picturesque town of Chipping Camden. Staying in the triple room, we were delighted at how spacious and bright it was - bigger than the photos suggest. Staying during a heatwave, we were also grateful of just how cool the room managed to remain. On a bit of a budget, we eschewed the town's hotels but Cornerways B&B is an excellent example of why smaller places can be the best - it would have cost a fortune anywhere else to have had the size room that we did! We appreciated the touches of treats with fresh fruit, tea-making facilities, and a fan (and a heater) available in the wardrobe. Breakfast over the two mornings of our stay set us up for the day - not only was it plentiful though, but it was also absolutely delicious! Going on a walk with friends, on the day we left, Carole and Les showed their flexibility and were happy for me to leave my car on their driveway after check-out. Easy to say "we will return" but I really do plan to and take my mother who would love Carole and Les, love Cornerways, and love Chipping Camden! See you next year!…
