My family and I came in for afternoon tea (celebrating my 21st birthday). My sister and I are both vegan but were provided with a fully vegan afternoon tea with lovely sandwiches, fruit salad to replace the scones and a delicious set of cakes (brownie, apple and almond and carrot cake). Really nice selection of teas to choose from and...

My boyfriend booked a hotel stay and spa package as a birthday treat and we had a lovely time!!! (Thanks to the chef for arranging a birthday treat in our room) I'd read some of the reviews about the hotel being tired but I didn't think this at all, I loved the character and style of the place. I loved...

Stayed at the hotel for a business conference. Spacious and clean bedroom, good choice at breakfast and service throughout the conference was excellent. Good central location for restaurants and bars.

Before attending the theatre, my father and I popped into The Midland and were met promptly by staff and shown to a seat. We ordered a hot sandwich, fries and pot of tea, which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Stayed at the hotel on business. Immaculately presented. Wide hotel corridors. I can't fault my stay. I ordered room service - arrived promptly at 10pm by a pleasant member of staff. Had the caesar salad and chunky chips. Asked for no anchovies which was adhered to. The corner room double bedroom was spacious and had complimentary water 💦. View looked...

This is a Q Hotel and I have stayed at them before. This is not perhaps as nice as some of the others, but is in a good location with parking a three minute walk away? Room was spacious and felt dated, like I had traveled back to 1985. Everything was clean and worked. The corridors and elevators have an...

The staff were excellent, attentive, helpful and polite. The only critism of the reception staff was that they didn't seem to be up to speed on the rules etc of the breakaway club. We should have been given an upgraded room if the hotel wasn't full, which it wasn't but we didn't get this. Our standard room was exceptionally clean but tired...

Had the most amazing experience at the midland. Staff were so attentive and helpful and made you feel a million dollars. Specifically a gentleman who works on the afternoon tea section. Not sure of his name but really added that special touch to the time that we were there. Nothing was too much to ask for, loved the maderia wine...
