We originally thought this hotel was just tired and we were in a reasonably quiet room without doors banging etc so we put up and shut up. Unfortunately on further inspection on the day we left we found the room was actually dangerous. My husband is an electrician so knows what he is on about. The electrics were 2 years...

Having read many poor reviews (after booking), yes our room was basic, a bit tired with no windows (we knew it was a sealed room when booking). A twin room for £89 was good value for the excellent city centre location; other hotels were much dearer. There seems to be little mention of the excellent facilities that we enjoyed using;...

This is by far the worst I ever seen. If this would have been a hotel in Sweden it would have been closed down since long time ago. The list of broken things can be made very very long and here is just some examples: broken windows, toilets not working, broken pipes leaking in the floor, rain leaking from roof,...

If your wanting a nice warm hot hotel this is the place to be. It was absolutely sweltering and all we got offered was another fan to blow even more hot air around the room. Never knew what time of day it was cos it was like been in airing cupboard at home as there was no windows! We won't...

This hotel was absolutely disgusting!! The door didn't lock or even shut properly, the shower leaked so much you couldn't use it, there were no windows or even a main light in the room, just the odd lamp here and there. The room was outdated, dusty and dirty as well not to mention there were bugs (headlice looking things) in...

Well the good point is the bathroom was fine. However, nothing else was. It cost over £100 for a twin room with no breakfast. Fusty decor. No Windows in the room. overheated room. Very rude staff who you have to hang around and wait for while they stand at the reception doing something with no explanation. Totally overpriced and unfriendly.

Came down to watch the football looking for somewhere cheap, no thrills. Hotel was as expected pretty basic. However the receptionist Melody was delightful, really helpful in telling me how to get around. Always had a friendly smile :) The full English is a winner too, £7 all you can eat!

Avoid!!! Called ahead as we were arriving a bit later than planned and were reassured that this was fine. We checked in and were told that they didn't have any family rooms left so would put us in a triple, we said no good there's 4 of us!! They then said we could have an executive double with a sofa...

Was in Manchester on business and due to unforseen circumstances had to stay over for a night. Quickly looked on booking.com and chose this hotel. Check in was fine paid for room in advance. Room was €55. I selected a single room so was suprised when I was given a twin room. Went to the bar for some food was...
