AVOID AT ALL COSTS. when u come out of the hotel turn right 200 yards u the road the ibis £56 one night full continental brekkie beautiful hotel

Lovely room, en suite bathroom, tv, tea/coffee making. First day was great, but it was so humid. No air conditioning, no fan, the window opened just a few inches - it was hot. And difficult to sleep. On the 2nd day, the fire alarm went off at 1.30 am, the free coffee/tea was not provided, the room wasn't cleaned, and I was awoken at 2 then 3 am by drunken guests, shouting and screaming. As I left the hotel, there were bottles, cups and beer cans screwn all over the corridor.

Our room was so grim, beyond basic! We felt like it was something out of American Horror story. The online pictures show an interesting, elegant hotel, full of culture, the reality is that the rooms are basic & tired. Shower barely working, grotty and one towel between the two of us. One plug to use for charging phones. A tiny double bed and one armchair. I wish I’d taken a picture to show how dire it was, just take my word for it, I never write reviews but this room was a step too low.

There was about 10/12 people in front of us when we first got there. So red flag 1. Queued for an hour to check in, got taking to people in front of us who'd been waiting for 3 hours for a clean room Apparently the housekeeping staff got covid and so there were not many clean rooms available. I felt sorry for the reception staff as it wasn't their fault and they were taking quite a bit of abuse. Turns out, They were having to give out refunds to alot of people who had a booking for that night! Eventually when I got to the front, I guess I was very lucky as they had a room for me. Rooms are very outdated, thin walls. Heard the guy in next room have a full on argument on the phone for a good hour! Beds aren't comfortable and was itchy all night. Shame as the hotel has great potential, its massive, one of the biggest hotels I've ever seen. But the foundations are there to make it really good hotel. Hopefully the owners will invest in upgrading the rooms/decor

Stayed there yesterday what a absolute disgrace I want my money back the booking in took nearly two hours as everyone was told to check in at the same time the room was clean but had only one hand towel so I had to go down and queue to speak to someone as they were still checking people in the reception had only two people on and he man working actually said that they were only them two working they had no staff everywhere was closed restaurants etc only a bar open with no food facilities we booked and paid for breakfast which we couldn’t have to it being closed later they closed the bar at ten due to no staff people where requesting a refund at the reception a family of three ladies with small children were complaining as one of the families were told to leave as they had made a mistake with there booking they’d only booked them in for one night never ever will I go there again it was booked through booking.com they should keep a check on hotels as what was advertised wasn’t available it’s false advertising please do not use them or book this hotel avoid at any cost
