I stayed at the New Union Hotel with a colleague in September. We booked this hotel as it was the cheapest hotel we could find and we were staying for one night whilst being at a conference. We had a double room for £40 which is extremely reasonable given this hotels location (Manchester; just by Oxford Rd & the main...

Dear Cpennington92 Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hotel. We are glad that you enjoyed a comfortable bed and a clean room. You have given a good assessment that the hotel is more suited to people on a night out rather than business people due to the noise and I will be replacing our...

I stayed a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend. We paid around £70 for a two night's stay. The location is perfect - only about a five minute walk to the centre of the city. We arrived a couple of hours before the check in time and entered the hotel through the pub downstairs. More signage should be added...

Hotel is situated in the vibrant and busy gay village area of the city. Found it to be perfect for our overnight visit for a concert it was know more than 10 mins walk from the train station and is surrounded by lively bars and restaurants with friendly and helpful people. The hotel is basic but for the price of...

Stayed at the new union hotel with a friend for two nights away. Very reasonably priced and for the quality of our room...I would be willing to pay more! Slept in a kingsize bed which without a doubt the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel is located...

This hotel is located between Manchester Oxford station and Manchester Piccadilly station, about 7-min walk from both stations. Great location, very friendly staff, comfortable bed :) The only con is the noise from the gay bar next to the hotel. (especially on Friday & Saturday nights) First floor of the building is actually a pub, this hotel will be a...

The rooms are really clean and has everything you need. Kettle, WiFi, TV, shower ensuite, can't fault it in the rooms. The pub and entrance halls need tarting up, but they are in the middle of it, but feels a world apart once your in your room literally right on canal Street!! BONUS!!

Love this place it's amazing it has the most comfortable bed that I have ever experienced at a hotel with it's memory foam mattress, the staff are extremely friendly and are always able to cater to our needs. After going there once it has become a regular place to stay in and it is also right in the centre and...

You have to go through the pub to enter the hotel, I asked the bar staff where the hotel was, she pointed me to a door which leaded upstairs. It wasn't clear where the reception was as I went down one corridor which led to a dead end of rooms, so I went down the other corridor to find the...

I spent three nights at this hotel with a group of friends. We arrived before our check in time and received a very warm welcome from the manager. We were allowed to leave our luggage at reception while the room was getting prepared. They moved our luggage to the room and let us know the room was ready by text...
