Dirty, nothing really worked - including wifi, unhelpful, most strange hotel setup I have ever encountered, you have to walk through a pub, and the hotel is on the first floor above, no elevators so pack light. We checked out immediately, all around bad experience.

A long list of broken things in the room! Bathroom door didn't shut, and was cracked. Hole in wall. Sockets and lights not working. Funny smell in room. Etc etc. Told reception that night but no manager on. Nor was there when I checked out. I asked to leave a number for manager to call me, and was told to...

Two friends and I booked a room at this hotel for a three night stay in January 2017. Upon arrival we were friendly greeted, and even though the hotel seemed a bit outdated, we we didn't think too much of it. We soon encountered BIG problems though... We went to have a rest in the bed, tired from travelling. Shortly,...

I booked this hotel as it was cheap and a good location. I have booked cheap chain hotels before which have always been clean and satisfactory. We were given the suite room which had a lounge/kitchen area plus bedroom and bathroom.I have to say we were quite disappointed, especially when the staff made a big issue of the room we...

I have stayed at the Mitre Hotel 3 previous times. Its cheap and if you looking for a cheap bed to sleep in whilst on a night out in Manchester it does the job. However i booked a night in the mitre hotel on the 17/4/17, 20 minutes later and contacted them to cancel the booking. They agreed to cancel...

It was a last minute booking and this hotel was the cheapest one in town centre so I gave it a go. The location is excellent as it's right in the centre. The hotel is tired but the restaurant/bar didn't look too bad. There is no lift in the hotel so this isn't good for people who have difficulties walking...

Had to hastily book a room in Manchester last minute and wanted to keep costs low as a solo traveller, ideally just wanted a private room to sleep so opted for this via Booking.com at a decent price of £30 for the night. For the price, it's not such a bad hotel as most of the reviews would suggest. I...

I left booking a hotel for a three-day business trip to Manchester far too late. All of the hotels I usual stay at were fully booked - there was a big football match being played at Old Trafford. The Mitre is a quaint listed building near the cathedral at the north end of Deansgate. It has wonky floors and very...

I booked this hotel for a concert on 3rd may.. I didn't read the reviews before booking so once I read them I was very worried and almost cancelled..I paid £79 for 1 night 2 people in a luxury room! First off the hotel is in a fantastic location, even better than anticipated! 2 minutes from the train station, print...

People who worked there were very nice and tried to help us with everything. Location is very good. We didn't have wifi in our room and warm water doesn't work in our bathroom. In the bar's hotel, one of the waiters, charged us extra cost for paying with credit card (0.5 pounds) and the others no.
