We stayed in the Verdene mid Dec 2017 for a visit to the Acamedy 2 to see the Chameleon Vox. We stayed the year before for the same concert too. On both occasions we had a decent room with vegetarian breakfast, tea & toast etc....More

The hotel is in a pretty low-income area of the city and plenty of litter all outside on the streets.

We took a taxi, but it was very expensive and would only take currency. We only had $$ so had to pay premium. Be sure you have British currency if you take a taxi. I'm not sure of any other way to get there. We flew home... More
We took a taxi, but it was very expensive and would only take currency. We only had $$ so had to pay premium. Be sure you have British currency if you take a taxi. I'm not sure of any other way to get there. We flew home from Heathrow so we didn't have the problem on return.
