On entering the room we immediately noticed the smell of mould, or urine coming from the carpet, which had not been well vacuumed. We asked for another room, but the smell from the carpet there was even worse (even in the corridors the odour was noticeable). Dirt was encrusted on the air conditioning unit and window sill and the windows... More

This hotel is about 20 mins from the centre of town and not hard to find. There is a tram station just outside and the ticket machine can be moderated to give instruction in English about how to buy a ticket and get around. The hotel itself is a little tired- it has a small pool though which the kids... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for the time you have taken to share your experience of your stay in our hotel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet and nicely furnished. The young man on reception was very polite and efficient on checking in. No problem for parking in the large hotel car park. The hotel has a swimming pool and sauna / spa facilities which we made use of. We drank beer in... More

Check in was pretty straightforward. We enjoyed some drinks in the bar before heading into the restaurant for dinner. Service was slow but they were very busy, a couple of extra waiters would have been good. The food wad very nice. The room was of good size and clean. Beds comfortable. The A/C doesn't work properly... It only blows out... More

The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff are very friendly and the facilities excellent. Swimming pool, free parking, free wi fi and proximity to the city centre all make this hotel a very good place to stay in. Definitely recommended!

I must admit to being a bit worried when we arrived in Strasbourg and saw the outside of this hotel. It looks from the exterior like a large, old tower block of flats - a pretty ugly building in an otherwise beautiful city. However once we got inside it was clear the outside appearances were deceptive and the interior was... More

Excellent hotel, as you would expect of a Mercure. We had a family room (2 double beds) plenty of space. Staff very friendly and very helpful. Tram stop, 2 minute walk for a 10 min trip into to a very beautiful City.

reserved this hotel for a one night stay-over with the family. Got a nice upgrade to a 'privileged room' with extra aminities. Room was very spacious with queen size beds and great matrasses. I picked this place since it offers free parking and close connection to town (tramway is at the front of the hotel and the very centre of Strasbourg takes a 10min ride which is only 5 stops away).
