The hotel's rooms were small, clean and well maintained. I had a great view of Place Gutenberg and its carousel. The location is steps away from the tram, a block to the cathedral and close to two excellent bakeries. You can easily walk to most of the museums and the river boat excursion. This neighborhood seems very safe for the...

Stayed just a few nights at this hotel for a business trip. Booked one of the Prestige rooms, which was still well under my per diem, and was treated to a room on the 4th floor that reminded me of a boudoir! The hallway was this soft red and then it was a lot of wood and white airy everythings,...

Used booking.com via tripadvisor to reserve room. My printed confirmation was not accepted at checkin and we were told the hotel was overbooked, had no rooms available and we were to be located to another of this chain's (diana) hotels outside the city center. I had just experienced a very difficult time navigating to the parking garage next to hotel...

This experience was great. Guttemberg was a positive surprise and Strassburg and Alsacia also. We stayed 03 nights at this Hotel. The room and the bathroom are really small, but the compensation comes from the location and the services. Really nice and helpfull attendents. We went by car from Switzerland to there by small roads crossing the Schwartzwald in German....

We booked this after reading reviews on this site. We had a lovely room on the 1st floor with views of the cathedral. The room was a decent size and had lovely antique furniture. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The bathroom was spacious and the hot water plentiful. The staff were courteous and helpful but not intrusive....

PROS Location was EXCELLENT--seconds from the Cathedral (we could actually see it from our window. We were right in the heart of the town and in Place Gutenberg, which I thought was MUCH more interesting than Place Kleber. Clean, relatively spacious room (spacious for France that is). Air conditioning, which was great when travelling in August. Multi-lingual staff and Free...

Hotel Gutenberg was a nice hotel very conveniently located in the heart of Strasbourg. The rooms were clean and spacious. Be aware that if you end up on the 5th floor you must take the stairs 1 flight. The service was good, the people at the desk speak english and were happy to help us to get a cab to...

Second to none location for strasbourg. Totally central, everything within easy walking distance. Rooms were immaculate by French standards and staff were friendly and helpful with perfect English. Only gripe/complaint - some rooms are in the attic of the building (which the elevator doesn't go to), the apex of the roof lies at what I can only describe as a...

Fabulous view from the top floor rooms. My room was fairly roomy for 1 person, however, the noise does get annoying from other rooms and the hallway.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Strasbourg. The location was superior. The room we had was small with tiny bathroom on the 4th floor but we only paid 65E per night and 8.5 E for breakfast. They did have bigger rooms but the prices were more. It was the best breakfast for our stay in France. It is...
