This hotel has a good location mid way between the central train station and the old town. The room was small, but calm and clean. The bed was confortable and the bathroom clean. They offer tea and coffee in the room. The personnel at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with various options and fresh fruits....

Visiting Strasbourg at Christmastime is magical. And returning "home" after a day of museums and markets needs to be warm, relaxing, quiet, and close. Hotel Royal Lutetia offers all this and more. A mere 10 minute walk from Place Broglie, the hotel is especially convenient as transportation on the island is restricted at this time...i.e. at HRL, the taxi can...

The rooms are on rather small, the staff not overly welcoming, the (free) wifi is notoriously unstable, no major international tv-channels are available and there is no free parking. But the hotel feels strangely comforting and homely. It's been quite a long time since I have slept so well on a hotel. The hotel is located in a mainly residential...

It was just me staying for a long weekend to enjoy the Christmas markets. I was given a room on the ground floor - nothing to look at out of the window, but a very comfortable room, with plenty of space. The staff were very helpful too. I had a little difficulty with getting in the room to start with,...

In a quite side street in the center of Strasbourg a clean and friendly hotel. Excellent value for a low price. Breakfast is fresh and nice and beds daily changed. I guess good for all needs of a visit in this region. Visit by foot the nearby old city and the beautiful historical atmosphere of the Petit France with its...

Hotel Royal Lutetia is great for any traveler looking for a quiet, clean and reasonable European hotel experience. You are welcomed to small elegant lobby with very helpful and pleasant staff. If your looking for the big city hotel with all the bustle, look elsewhere. Particularly relevant for a Sabbath observant traveler, the hotel has no electronic locks, is walking...

Fab hotel only 5-10 min walk to centre of strasbourg and the christmas markets. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely. Bilgin the night receptionist/barman was lovely and really helpful. Only downside is not tea making facilities in rooms.

Every single member of staff that dealt with us during our five day stay were really friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location in the Jewish Quarter only a five minute walk from any number of kosher restaurants and synagogue services. The rooms are perfectly adequate and the common areas are delightfully decorated. Highly recommend!

Do you know this feeling when small things distort the overall experience significantly? Here's an example for this. Nice rooms, quiet environment, reasonable breakfast, very friendly service. All very good. But! The WiFi is a nightmare: instable, worked somewhat with my phone, not at all with my computer (never had that before). And: only public parking outside. With a very...
