Was travelling in Strasbourg for a youth forum, and they booked Cap Europe for me. A real disappointment for me and the other youth delegates. Rooms were tiny, definitely not the impression we got from the pictures. The heater in the room was very weak, so the room was always freezing. We stayed there for a week, and only got...

When people say this hotel smells they were NOT exaggerating. My room reeked of sewage - I couldn't step foot into the bathroom without vomiting from the smell. I ended up checking out two days early because I couldn't stomach more than one night. Of course they make you pay upfront and won't reimburse you. I feel bad for the...

We stayed in the Cap Europe for one night. A very friendly and competent young lady welcomed us at the reception. We were desperately in need of free Wifi access to organize our further trip in Strasbourg. The fact that all the available hotel Wifis did not work at all led to great disappointment. Finally we had to check a...

It was an unfortunate experience (03 October 2016) ... the room on the 4th floor was smelly, it was a bad smell in the bathroom, the room was dirty, we had a very poor wifi connection. A receptionist was very rude and arrogant (I mean the lady of romanian nationality, blonde, blue eyes, from reception) who refused to change our...

The hotel offers rooms at very low rates. In weeks when the European Parliament is in town, you would pay at least twice as much at any other hotel in Strasbourg. In addition, Cap Europe is one of very few hotels within walking distance of the European neighborhood. Unfortunately, the rate and location are the only good thing about the...

We booked to stay here thinking it was a hostel, but found on arrival that it is much more of a hotel! Inexpensive, fairly well located (walking distance from city centre and from train station). Unfortunately, the wifi hardly worked at all, which was a big disappointment. Also our room, though seemingly clean, had a terrible smell of sewers and...

Take this Hotel if you are planning to just sleep there for one or two nights. The bathrooms are very uncomfurtable and they smell, at night can be loud yet is pretty good ubicated and easy to reach. The personal also speaks english.

This room was very clean and tidy, and just a short walk from the centre of Strasbourg. The staff could have been friendlier, but overall, it was a good experience. I would stay here again and I would recommend to family and friends.

This provides secure parking and easy access to all the sights, but it is scruffy and not well cared for. It is a cheap way to stay in the city centre but I'm sure there would be somewhere better if you keep looking
