Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the nicest hostel I used in France. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and it is obvious that they are happy as they are always in good spirits. The breakfast is much better than an average French breakfast, with excellent choice (and it is available up until 10.30am!). Their member's kitchen actually...

We stayed here for the Euro 2016 tournament as our team were playing in Bordeaux. Speedy check in and the staff were great. there were 4 of us staying here and we were all in the same room with 2 bunk beds. Lockable storage under the beds and a privacy curtain on each bed with a nightlight too. Toilets were...

Stayed here for around 5 days as it was cheap at 24€ a night including breakfast. It was always clean and the staff were generally friendly apart from one woman at the front desk. There's a place to store your luggage both under bunk bed and on the ground floor which is always handy. The breakfast was surprisingly really nice...

I stayed at this hostel in late April 2016. It was conveniently located and very comfortable. The hostel is modern and quite spacious with a large dining room with a kitchen attached, TV and a lounge. I stayed in a four person dormitory with a comfortable bed, a lockable locker under the bed and an en suite bathroom all for...

I went to the auberge de jeunesse de Bordeaux with my wife and we had a terrible experience! First of all, the check in was only available at 4.00pm. Because of that, my wife and I left the luggage at the auberge and went to walk around the city, getting back there only at night. When we got to the...

I stayed in this hostel for 2 days in a 4 bedroom private room. The rooms were immaculately clean complete with a shower room (toilet down the hall) and lockers underneath bunk beds to lock away items. The hostel is located next to some kind of club as on our first night, loud music could be heard from our rooms. The...

With pretty much all the budget & mid range hotels in Bordeaux already booked up for our impromptu visit to Bordeaux, we ended up here & were pleasantly surprised. It was perfect for us and we were quite glad we didn't spend any more to stay in a cheap hotel which wouldn't have had half the facilities on offer here....

I have stayed in many hostels before this one was very clean, staff helped where they could and the breakfast was fairly decent! The rooms have bunk beds and you are given clean linen to put onto them. There is usually a shower in each room. But not all rooms have a toilet so you use the communal one! The...

Before I checked-in, I worried a bit because of the bad reviews. Actually, it's not that bad :) The price is reasonable in an expensive city like Bordeaux. And the location is very close to the train station. Although the staff are not very good at replying your email enquiries, the staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful....

Located near the main train station (Gare Saint-Jean), this hostel offers a €23 bed for a good night's sleep. It also comes with a good breakfast attended by wonderful people. I could not stop drinking their fruit juices! I like that the bed comes with privacy curtains. The reception was welcoming, particularly the lady who also speaks several other languages....
