We booked a room from October 2nd to 5th at this hotel. EasyJet canceled the flight and we asked the hotel to postpone the stay or a voucher to arrange another date. They were uncompromising and arrogant and did not allow for a new appointment. At a time of pandemic it is unacceptable. I will never again mark this hotel

Pros: Breakfast was fairly decent with basic options. There were a lot of packaged options to ensure less infection. Cons: I have always been loyal to the Ibis chain, but after this experience, I am considering looking elsewhere for my accommodation. To begin with, the hotel is located in a remote area far from the life of the city. While this is excusable, we arrived and were promptly told the air conditioning is not working, and we would be given fans instead. With an outside temperature of 40° this made the entire stay terribly uncomfortable. On being questioned, the receptionist gave us a rude reply indicating that he was uncomfortable in the heat too, despite that not being my problem. If the AC was switched off for some Covid-19 precautions, I'd like to have been informed that at the time of booking, since I paid for an air conditioned room and did not receive that. Furthermore, the bathroom was very small and the sink was clogging too. Breakfast had less options than usual, I suppose this is to maintain hygiene during this time, however cutlery was dirty and tables were not cleaned quickly enough. All in all, the worst Ibis I have stayed at, I found myself spending longer hours in the scorching heat to simply avoid returning to the room.

I booked in and went to my room it clearly hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupant. I went back to reception to tell them the lady just said “oh” and went to get me another key. No apologies. On entering the new room it was like a sauna I went to reception again and was told the air conditioning is broken, there was a tiny fan in the room which did nothing. We had to sleep with the windows open which was noisy. The breakfast was terrible a few pieces of ham and cheese on a plate and a few other items.

The worst I've ever seen in France. Very slow service. Bad breakfast. Very weak cleaning. A lot of noise. The staff are extremely unsympathetic and have no slightest consideration for guests. Clearly they do not have adequate training. Including the manager. Away from the river and the city center.

This is a small place close to the airport but nowhere close to attractions. The only good thing about the location is that is on the tram line. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the riverfront area by tram. The service was slow as there was online person doing check-ins and check-outs. The bar area was good size, but the service was terrible as the counter person had to handle the bar area also. One evening after we finally got waited on, we tried to order 2 different kinds offer and 2 different wines and they were out of all of them. The breakfast was nothing special and somewhat limited. We would definitely not stay again.
