There is a lot of poetic license going on with the advertising of this 'hotel ' mainly they missed an 's' out ie hostel. advertising a spa ,which is a out of order sauna.nothing victorian about this place concrete floors and walls.you can go to the loo and cook your dinner the bathroom and 'kitchen ' are so close to...

The hotel is very austere and reminded us of a youth hostel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and some seemed better than others (we booked 3 rooms for our family group). In 2 of the rooms there was a shower rail over the bath but no bracket to hold the shower head. The Reception area was welcoming and the...

We chose this as it had a family room plus parking, in the centre of Bordeaux. The room was fine but basic. Good shower, good size room, but for 4 people we were hoping for some division between sleeping sections (there wasn't one). Breakfast was fine. We didn't book it in advance and they offered it to us for 8...

The hotel is set back from the road through solid looking gates. You enter into an oasis of trees and the hotel building and car park. The Welcome at the desk was superb. Very friendly, but the reception is closed at odd times for no obvious reason. The room was above average size and the bed comfortable. The air con...

Well, it has a lot of cons and few pros... First of all, it is really far from the centre-ville. I had a bad time finding it. It had disappointing rooms, though it had a good bathroom. The service is not good, we asked them to make a reservation for us (I don't speak french), and they told us we...

Stayed her 2 nights in July 2014. Average hotell, but the breakfast buffet is not the best I've seen. They have parking (inside a looked gate) for 6 Euro per day. The room we lived in had a fridge and posibilities to make your own food.

As we were travelling on a budget, this was perfect choice for us. We stayed here for three nights and didn't face any major issues. Check in was smooth and staff helpful and friendly. We had booked a "suite", but I would rather call it a standard room. Mini-kitchen was good enough for our needs (made our own breakfast) but...

We booked last minute for our trip to Bordeaux. Victoria Garden had a decent deal on last minute bookings and seemingly a good location so we went with it. Please don't make the same mistake. My wife and I are walkers when we go on vacations, we like to take in the city and get a true feel for it....

I stayed here as a solo traveller for 3 nights. My room was great. It had a kitchenette which was useful and moderately equipped, a good size bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, I arrived earlier than check-in time and they found me a room that was ready straight way. There was...

We stayed here for a short stay in May and felt that the hotel offered good value for money ..with amoma.com through trivago. There was a small kitchenette section with a fridge , 2 ring hob and microwave which was ideal. There were also tea making facilities (although only 1 mug), However the hotel entrance was rather dark and dingy,...
