The staff were terrific, the breakfast excellent (though at an extra charge). Just a minute's walk from the train station. We had a room at the back of the hotel, an extension. Modern, great bathroom, extermely clean, quiet, though my husband could hear plumbing from the other rooms. The immediate surroundings are a bit seedy, homeless people sleeping nearby, but it... We chose the hotel for its close proximity to rail station ( 5 mins walk ). We stayed in the ground floor rooms surrounding the courtyard. The rooms are reasonably sized and clean, but no air conditioning however they do have a floor fan. Admittedly it's not in a part of the city that could be called picturesque but We... More

This hotel is well located to the train but not in a nice neighbourhood we were not comfortable walking around these streets so used the tram which runs very regularly into the city centre. The room was clean with the nice touch of a coffee machine. It was very noisy and the toilet did not work well. I found the... More

Excellent location in a quiet street 400 meters from the TGV Station. Reception staff speak excellent English and are super helpful and courteous. We arrived sans bags - they were still in Paris - and the lady in reception helped me with phone calls to the airline. Lovely clean room on the second floor with a view over the street,... More

This is a renovated hotel in a previous small housing building. Staff in reception is very helpful. If you get a room in the 2nd. floor you have to carry the baggage because there is no elevator. Rooms are well decorated, but are small. In the days we spent in Bordeaux there was an abnormal outside temperature of 43ºC, and... More

Thank you for your commentary. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. The receptionist is always willing to help you carrying your luggage up (and down) to your room. Best regards from Bordeaux (where it is less hot now) More

This is a great little independent hotel. The rooms are clean, though spare. Each room has a full bathroom, but the fixture in our shower was broken, so I had to hold the shower wand the entire time I showered. This could be easily fixed. The beds were clean and comfortable. There is no AC, but with the windows open,... More

This is a lovely hotel with a superb location to the train/tram/bus station. It is a 5-6 tram stop from the centre of Bordeaux. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very neat, clean and comfy. I would recommend this hotel.

The idea here is neat - rooms in the hotel, then cottage-seeming rooms behind the main building. If only the rooms behind the main building weren't musty with fans that didn't work and a towel warmer that didn't work. It felt a little dumpy to be honest and the breakfast was a little sparse (though they did have nutella, so... More
