This hotel have the perfect location for a relaxing holiday and in walking distance to the town, restraurants, museums and shops. We really appreciated that we could train our French language skills, and when they were too poor, the lovely people working at the hotel would help out in English. The room was very nice, and we overlooked the back...

This lovely hotel was comfortable in the center of a lovely and quiet town. We were here to see the caves and the couple running this hotel offered a wonderful respite from our long days. The pool was a great welcome on hot afternoons.

The hotel is run by a lovely couple who are very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and quiet. The bathroom is probably a bit outdated but very clean so not a problem for us. I love the location. It is very close to the ticket office for Grotte du Font De Gaume, Combarelles, etc., which is convenient if you...

A very comfortable reasonably priced hotel with parking. It seems to be the closest hotel to the caves - a ten minute walk. I drove up early to queue for cave tickets and my wife walked up with breakfast to join me at a more respectable time. The staff were very helpful and there a good restaurants very close. The...

Hotel des Roches has retained all its traditional French charm since my last visit 17 years ago! With lovely rooms and a sparkling pool it was good value, easy to find and with ample parking. My only disappointment was the very 'automated' self-service breakfast. One of my delights when in France is the breakfast with crispy croissants, home-made preserves and...

Modern but in traditional style blending with the local architecture. Very well maintained with a fine regularly cleaned swimming pool. Has WiFi.. Only complaint is the breakfast as there is no fresh fruit only from tin and no fresh coffee only from an awful machine. No restaurant. Owners are very helpful. Website is good and you do hear the birds!

We stayed for 6 nights as part of a group. The hotel is shabby, but does that matter when it is very comfortable? Friendly and helpful it provides a better breakfast than many more expensive hotels in France. Situated in Les Eyzies, with its many excellent eateries, the lack of a restaurant is almost an advantage. The swimming pool, with...

The reception was efficient and friendly. We were shown two rooms and asked for the room in the annexe. The room was comfortable and quiet. The weather was hot but the efficient insulation worked very well. The view from the room was over a garden and rivulet. Would stay again.
