A small but beautifully presented hotel that provides everything that is needed. It is convenient for both town and beach. The staff could not be more helpful nor friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, not least because of the excellent breakfast. The patisseries came in packets which promised they were an inexhaustible source of happiness. So it proved!

Our Stay at the Lann-Roz was in the main very good, The Rooms were clean and proper with lovely balconies overlooking the gardens.... the restaurant was first class as was the service and the wines were of a good price The Breakast at 14euros pp was expensive but very well presented and attention to cleanliness was first class. However, to have dogs in the Restaurant and Breakfast area, the dogs being of the large side ie Standard Poodle, which reached / jumped up to the tables to see what their owners were eating, to me was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE and should be addressed... Also the rooms are non smoking but the balconies are not so to have both sides of you puffing away on Cigars is not great... Parking is available but very tight.. All in all a hotel which is 10 mins walk from the Town and equal distance from the beach is very good... But having dogs that jump up as to reach the tables from which their owners are eating is quite another thing... Would I stay here again, for the restaurant YES for the Service YES for the rooms YES for Pets accessibility a Resounding NO!! So on this review I am afraid you have to draw your own conclusions........

We stayed here for two nights as a birthday treat and to visit the Carnac megaliths. A really wonderful find. Excellent breakfast and evening meal, well worth its Michelin star. A really special weekend. Our hostess was delightful and welcoming making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Worth booking lunchtime or evening meals ahead as it is popular. We loved this stylish family run hotel and restaurant and would not hesitate recommending it to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed here for two nights in September on our drive from Spain back to the UK as we wanted to see the Alignments. The hotel is easy to find, just outside the town (about a 5 min walk to the centre) There is limited parking at the rear and lots of parking on the road in front. We had a large double room on the ground floor which was very spacious and nicely decorated. The 'wet room' bathroom in particular was very impressive. We didn't eat at the hotel as there is loads of choice in the town and at the beach (I think we missed out as the restaurant looked lovely!) We wanted to book the boat trip to Gavrinis Island to see the chambered tomb but we don't speak French. Laëtitia phoned for us and booked us a place that afternoon which we were very happy about - great service! Overall we were very impressed with the hotel - the modern boutique-style made a change from the more traditional, corporate hotels in the same price range.

Okay so it’s not often I feel compelled to write a review but after travelling all over the world staying at basic hotels to Luxury 5 star hotels please read this and decide if it’s the type of place you would want to take your family for a holiday regardless of how many stars it has or good reviews it has had in the past. 2 days ago we were looking for somewhere to stay in Carnac and looking through trip advisor came across this hotel, I decided to book through one of the secondary booking sites Expedia and paid directly to avoid any problems, reasons for choosing this hotel even though is was expensive I think at £265 for 2 nights, 1) the hotel had a family room to accommodate myself partner and 2 year old. 2) on the Trip advisor site it lists in amenities wheelchair access. I am a ex Paralympic Wheelchair athlete and don’t require a specially adapted room just access to the room ie: no steps. So we arrived around 3pm with no staff on reception to the chef came over and very kindly asked if we would wait until the reception-staff arrived 15 mins later another chef came through with an English speaking gent to inform us there was no room as it was upstairs and they had no lift, they had 1 room on the ground floor and that was booked out for 10 days. Okay I know that these things can happen but didn’t expect what was to come, we left the hotel a little disgruntled as the site said wheelchair access yes to 1 room! our 2 year old little girl was getting a bit ratty after a long day in the car. The Chef’s were very nice and called another hotel albeit £350 more but it was getting a bit desperate for us so decided to go for it. By the way the , (English speaking So called Receptionist or manager was having a long lunch I think) never saw her. I then called Expedia to cancel the hotel and they were very helpful but said they would to speak to the hotel to clarify the problem, I was on hold for another 10 mins when the lady came back to me and I was informed that the Manager of the hotel insisted I pay for the 2 nights £265 as I cancelled the room within the allotted cancellation period. I could have fell off my chair the cheek as I wanted the room but it didn’t have access as advertised no access. I called the hotel to ask why this was the case and was angry but not disrespectful but this was hard to take as I finally got to speak to the so called receptionist come manager, I have never come across a more rude and confrontational arrogant person working in a hotel In all my days travelling it was my fault and I will not give you any refund full stop. She put the phone down on me! and if this is the way you treat customers good luck in the future Hotel Lann -Roz The person in question called Marie. Don’t go near this hotel or her if you want a relaxing break with nice staff, god forbid you don’t adhere to the laws of Lann-Roz hotel. As I started with I don’t write on sites very much but this was totally out of order and cost me a lot of effort worry and time over getting my money back. But the good news is Expedia has agreed to refund the whole amount very kindly and will take up with Hotel Rank-zilch the rudeness and attitude towards its customers displayed today big 👎.

We stayed for one night at Lann Roz in July, and had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant also. The room was larger than anticipated and very well designed. For a 3 star hotel it was very clean, light and well appointed, the shower and bathroom were great. We booked based on the restaurant and were very pleased with the room also. Wished we could’ve stayed longer! Now to the breakfast: a selection of homemade cakes, pastries, breads, juices, cereals etc were on offer, I could go on. The quality was fantastic with many local producers on show reflecting a pride in the region that was shared by all the staff. Shout out to Martin who went above and beyond!

We were visiting the Carnac area to see the magnificent standing stones. However, we discovered there is a lot more to this area. Always like a comfortable hotel with good breakfast a ‘must’, the restaurant, well that was a bonus. Chose Lann Roz as the reviews were impressive and to be honest, when we saw the photo of the Chef Patrons it looked like our kind of place. The other reviews outline facilities, welcome, friendliness etc, its all accurate. If you like big, grand hotels with lots of facilities, this isn’t for you, however, if you want a place to stay that truly cares about quality, comfort and providing the best food with passion, warmth and dedication this is for you. The only other place I have stayed that has this ‘feel’ is Le Manoir Raymond Blanc’s Hotel/restaurant. Thank you we will be back

I cannot quite believe the value for money this place offers. We received a fantastic & informative welcome and were presented with a large room with a comfortable bed with memory foam mattress, water, a couple of local (delicious) sweets and a huge bathroom; including a wet-room area and decent toiletries , which has been overlooked in previous hotels. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the night of our stay so we could not sample the food. I would highly recommend this place. Lovely helpful & friendly people in a lovely premises. Would definitely book again if visiting the area. Just a short walk from local restaurants which was fortunate given the torrential rain! This hotel is worth a far higher star rating in my opinion.

We had a wonderful stay at Lann Rozz. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host was so welcoming and friendly, we could not have asked for better. We dined in the restaurant run by the hosts, the meal that we were served was fabulous, the food sourced from the region was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast was plentiful contained a wide variety of choices and was also locally sourced cuisine, the best breakfast we have had during our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
