We stopped here for one night with friends and it was great. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The breakast was great with lots of choice. We would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Whilst there we also had an evening meal. The food and service was faultless. The only problem we did have was not... More

Classic from the front and modern, bright and spacious at the back. Private parking a bonus. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant was bustling and the two ladies on duty took care of everyone with great professional skill. The food was superb. The best kind of hotel. One that enjoys having guests and looks after them very well.

We stayed here twice, and both times the experience was excellent: Great service, friendly staff and very clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast left nothing to wish for, and we would be happy to stay here again in the future. It is just near the centre of town, and loads of local people come to dine here, which in itself... The garden rooms, are quite new and luvly, rooms in the house really do need updating, clean, but quite a bit of mould around the bathroom, still can't get my head round the bright orange floor covering, and orange woodwork . Reception and dining room spot on, first class along with the food, really is 4 star. But don't forget,... More

We, two couples, overnighted here on the way from the Alps. From that point of view this was a perfect stopover, clean tidy modern rooms (in a detached block, more modern than the main building), an excellent meal which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, including two slightly picky eaters. Significantly it was very busy.

Contacted the hotel by email the next day from home and asked them to reimburse. Nothing happened. So complained to Booking. com the agent who tried to get me my money back, but... More

First stop after landing in Paris on the way to the coast saw us in Avallon - and using the LOGIS guide we found this little number. Like other LOGIS we have stay in, it was quirky, consistent, clean and comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor which we accessed by a vertical metal ancient spiral staircase - fun -... More
