What a gem, immediately next to the cathedral. This wonderful hotel is a mixture of the traditional and modern. Our room, Henry IV, approached via a stunning spiral staircase had wood panelling, bare floor boards, a very comfortable bed and a red patent leather arm chair! The welcome was warm and the directions to the car park very clear (included...

We stayed here overnight. What a great hotel, wonderful staff, well priced. The room was quiet, no noise from other occupants, basically no road noise. Great breakfast. It is so close to the Cathedral, it's amazing. Parking is included in the tarif and is a short walk from the hotel. This is a small five room hotel, get in quick...

We stayed at Le Parvis as a 2 night stopover on our way to Caen from Burgundy. Our host and hostess were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. They both spoke English, a bonus for us. Parking was secure in an underground car park 2 minutes walk from the hotel, using the hosts barrier pass key. The facilities were comfortable and...

We stayed here for one night...right across from the main cathedral & on the main pedestrian square. Owner was attentive, helpful and rightfully proud of his establishment. Generous breakfast, WiFi access okay and we had a/c (which is HARD to find in these quaint renovated inns!) We were able to watch the luminary display on the cathedral just a few...

We loved staying at Le Parvis! Our room (Louis) had a view of the cathedral. We had a lovely little sitting area, a small kitchenette with fridge and a bedroom and a bathroom. There was no lift, but the location made up for that! The staff is really nice & when we were shown the room the man did a...

Le Parvis is a lovely bnb located right next to Chartres cathedral. You have your own access to the cathedral square. Love the round bed in my funky room. Staff were very kind and helpful and breakfast was very good. Near good restaurants as well.

We have chosen the hotel for the location as it is literally next door of the Chartres Cathedral. The hotel has a character- all rooms are decorated in its own style. We had two rooms one next to another and both rooms were amazing. There is a lovely terrace in between the hotel and the Cathedral - perfect to end...

First, the good. Great location, right next to the Cathedral. The rooms could be charming, given the old building. But, our experience was ruined by their use of a very intense pungent cleaner in our room. I had an allergic reaction and my husband, who normally is bullet-proof, said it was the worst smell he ever encountered in a hotel...

We thank you for this comment but do not understand the odor problem that has never happened in our house. This may be a confusion with another institution. In which bedoom ? Best regards. François

Wonderful visit. Gracious welcome. Easy parking. Delicious breakfast. Right next to Cathedral - could see it from our window in the Anges room. The nighttime Chartres lights display is a must see. Beautifully renovated old building with lots of history.
