I lucked out when a booking problem prompted the staff to give me a class higher room than I booked, so my view may be more accurate for those rooms. But it was beautiful, clean; breakfast was of good variety and featured fresh fruit and crepes among the usual baguette slices and marmalade. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Easy to...

On their web site it says "first come, first served for parking" so when we arrived we parked in a space. We were then told that this was only the case if you booked it in advance. I am disabled and had to park in a railway station multi story car park about 400M away. The room was on the...

Nice fresh Art Deco style room and clean throughout. Strange noisy narrow staircase up to our room. Not happy paying 12 euros for our dog, usually paying 5 euros or free. The car park behind hotel (rough ground) was 7 euros. I could have used their secure parking but opted to park behind hotel as it was convenient. We had...

We were expecting a "prestige" room (Booking via Booking.com). On arrival we were told we were being "upgraded" to the hotel next door. The room was rather small but comfortable enough for 1 night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a little on the expensive side but...

The hotel is easy to find and very central with private parking - a great place to break the journey from Dunkirk to Poitiers. We walked from there to the nearby cathedral for a fabulous laser light display on the outside walls and had a lovely italian meal in the square.

We really liked this hotel. The top floor room for a family of 4 was very nice and the location was great. Be advised there is no elevator. Parking must be reserved if needed because there are not many parking places.

Stayed here during my pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. The receptionist was a very nice man who spoke very good English for a French person. Turns out it was a former Briton from the UK. When I told him what I was doing (cycling to Santiago de Compostela), I got a room upgrade. My bike could be parked safely in...

I chose this hotel because of its location and was not disappointed in that regard. On the day we arrived I was pleased with the service, but the next day we encountered a problem. The shower seemed to take longer than usual to drain, but after a little while it became clear that the shower was not draining, but slowly...

Located very close to the train station, and within walking distance to the tourist sites. The lobby area is modern and very pretty. The rooms are small and basic. We stayed for 2 nights. After the first night, when the room was cleaned, not even the empty shampoo bottles were removed from the bathtub. We ate breakfast the first day....

On a road trip through France this was our choice for Chartres for an overnight stay. I was a bit puzzled as to which part of the hotel we were in. Previous reviewers had suggested they were upgraded to the main Hotel Jehan de Beauce. It certainly seemed that way to us as the other guests seemed to be in...
