What's to say? F1's are always conveniently situated close to a road. All the rooms come with walls, a ceiling and a window. There is electric light, and other electric sockets, a TV, and a bed with pillows and covers. My room also had a wash basin with no plug, but both taps worked. They all proudly display their official 1...

This was our first experience of F1, I was interested to see what we'd get for €21 a night. It would liken it to sleeping in a cabin on a ferry but we were happy in our little cupboard. Definitely no frills here but the room was clean, the window opened and I slept very well. The toilets and showers...

Close to the ring road, town centre and a few restaurants, the hotel is great value for a traveler wanting an easy nights stop. Very basic but does what it claims, clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. The restaurants close by offer a good choice for eating in the evening and there are also some nearby shops. Breakfast is typically...

This is what it is. A cheap stop over on the way to other places. The difference between this F1 and others is the friendliness of the man running it. He was very jovial on our arrival and offered us a leaflet of a light show on the cathedral that evening. He was attentive again at breakfast. The coffee here...

Clean and cheap and really quiet considering its location. I had a three person room to Myself but a couple plus a smaller able bodied child would be fine here and all that for €35! Breakfast pretty standard French fare and all that for 3.50. Another good value.

My friend and I regularly drive a lorry from England to Spain and Chartres is often our first stopover. The F1 is cheap at €35 for a twin room (plus 40 cents each, 'tourist tax') and we've used it twice. The 'basic' beds are comfortable enough, although hard. The rooms are warm. The pillows often stink. Theirs no toilet or...

We routinely use F1 and Premiere Classe hotels when travelling in France. It is important to understand the 'no frills' concept behind both chains, otherwise you will inevitably be disappointed. This F1 was up-to-standard for the chain. Reception was friendly, efficient and helpful. You are asked whether you have stayed at an F1 hotel before, and the lack of en-suite...

It's ok for a overnight stop no secure parking as with most formula 1 hotels but on the plus side it's located in a business park with a few take away restaurants in close proximity. The takeaways all close at night so you do get a quiet nights sleep.

We stayed here on route down to the South of France. We have stayed in many Formule1's over the last 15 years. You know what to expect. It is in a great location for a quick stopover. Lots of places to eat, even KFC and Macdonalds opposite. We read the reviews after we had booked and nearly changed hotels as...

As we had treated ourselves to a nice hotel on our trip down to south of France, coming back we had to be more careful with our spends, so opted for budget, as long as it is clean we thought, how bad can it be? It was one of the worst nights of our life! I know it is cheap...
