I have stayed at so many B&Bs that I can't remember, but this one is outstanding. Sylvie Menard is the friendliest and most helpful host ever. The room is superbly comfortable and the location couldn't be better. Just a stroll up to the cathedral. Breakfast is very generous. Strongly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay a few nights in...

The location was excellent in terms of walking distance to the town and to the Cathedral. We also enjoyed walking the different streets near the B&B in the evening. Sylvie was an excellent host and had lots of helpful information. She called a taxi and negotiated price for us, and stayed until the taxi arrived to speak to the driver....

I stayed here for 3 nights and was very impressed. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast very tasty and fresh. The location was convenient and picturesque. Sylvie, the host, was fantastic - she put up with my dreadful French (she speaks English) as I wanted to practice, she helped me get a ticket to the theatre and above all...

Beautifully presented room with high attention to comfort. Sylvie made us very welcome with her sense of humour an offer of assistance if we required any. Breakfast was a treat, made us feel like we were truly in France

Having stayed at Les Cinviv'hotes three years ago, we were delighted to return and find Sylvies's welcome just as warm and the accommodation just as delightful. A very pretty room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Sylvie serves a copious breakfast of fresh foods and home-made preserves. All in a house full of character in the Old Town so close...

This B&B is superbly located to explore Chartres. Sylvie is very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her breakfast was simple but plentiful. There is secure, off road parking which is fabulous here. Chartres is charming and well worth a visit.

This is a family-run B & B within easy walking of the Chartres Cathedral and other attractions. Very comfortable and quiet, with old-world charm and new world conveniences. Parking in locked and enclosed barn next door. Excellent breakfast, with home-made jams and jellies. Tricky to find, but well worth the effort. We will stay again when we return to Chartres

My husband and I spent one night at Les Conviv'hotes during our driving tour of France. The B&B is near the Eure River, about 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral. We stayed in the ville room, which was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, located off the kitchen where breakfast is served. Breakfast was a selection of organic breads, croissants, yogurt,...

Les Conviv'hotes helped to make our recent short stay in Chartres a truly enjoyable and memorable one. This small hotel is ideally situated in a quiet location in the lower part of this ancient city. The magnificent cathedral and other historic buildings are only a short walk away, as is the railway station. Sylvie, the proprietor, immediately made us very...

“Our room was at the front and the street light is quite bright. Use the shutters on the outside of the window to darken the room. They are easy to use.”

“When I travelled solo on 2011 I stayed in the yellow room and enjoyed a wonderful sleep in the double bed , but this time in 2013 I chose the blue room since the large bed could be divided into twin beds.....both rooms are beautifully decorated , but I lived the huge bath/shower in the blue room. The yellow room has a cute view of the small garden below....but the blue room is larger.....”
