My wife and I stayed three nights in early November. La Maison De Famille is a quaint cottage in the village of Chenonceaux. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, railway station and to the beautiful Chateau Chenonceaux. Our ground floor room was comfortable and had sole access to a good sized bathroom (almost ensuite). The bed was very comfortable...

La Maison de Famille is a lovely French cottage in the heart of Chenonceaux, within 5 minutes walking distance from the train station, Chenonceaux Chateau and local reasonably priced restaurants and hotels. It features a lovely garden and has ample car parking off road. Our host Cecile was charming and helpful. She advised us on the local area and helped...

If you want to disconnect and enjoy real holidays, there's no better place. You'll stay in a French's family house. Lively place. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. But if you are a party animal or can't live without TV, go to a big city.

A perfect BnB, cloud like bedding in an 1870 room, with a private roof terrace to watch the balloons fly over. Cecile was a great Holst, and a great breakfast to start the day. Thanks for a great stay.

The place is very nice. Old house but well taken care of. Peaceful garden. We agreed an arrival time with the host who was very understanding of our schedule. She welcomed us very nicely. We had a three-bed bedroom and the bathroom was inside the bedroom. It is a good point not to have to share it with everyone else...

Monsieur Eves was a great host and made us feel very welcome. He was able to speak mostly English with us, which was helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the rooms were cozy. They were able to arrange bicycle rentals for us very easily, which were delivered to the bed and breakfast and picked up when we were done!...

We began a leisurely six-day walking tour in the Loire Valley by visiting the best, first. Chenonceaux is the perfect chateau, the peak of Renaissance scale, proportion, site--everything. As moving as visiting a place like Fallingwater, one of us thought, or the Sagrada Familia. The chateau and its gardens and setting on Le Cher are the reason for visiting; the...

Cecile welcomed us upon arrival and informed us of available restaurants for dinner. Our room was large and comfortable as was the bathroom. The chateau and town centre were close by. Breakfast was provided at the requested time.

Cecile was a charming host and was of great help in guiding on what to do and where to eat. Local knowledge is real added value when staying in a B&B like this. Only a few minutes walk from the Chateau, the house is old and quirky, with a large garden, so plenty of space to relax in the sun....

On a night by night trip of the Loire we decided to stay here for our only two night stop; Cecile our host was friendly from the outset offering a welcome cup of tea as soon as we were settled. We stayed in the chocolate room which was fine, comfortable beds, shower in the room and a shared toilet right...
