we had a very nice twin room all be it facing the road but like previous travelers were not disturbed during the night as there was hardly any traffic The hotel stands in its own lovely grounds with ample parking and being walking distance to a fabulous chateau the slight downer was the price of eating within hotel

We stayed from the 16-18 August, 2 couples - 1 in room 7, 1 in room 24. Room 7 - small but cosy, individually controlled aircon, bath with shower attachment and a private terrace. Bed was a little firm for us, both room and terrace could do with a little updating and maintennance but overall they were perfectly acceptable. Room...

Really lovely hotel, very relaxed and friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant and a nice area outside to sit down with pretty roses and flowers on the walls. Great location for visiting the beautiful Chateau de Chenonceau.

A traditional hotel nearby the Chateau de Chenonceau, very charming, surrounded by flowers. Good service, good food, comfortable old style rooms. Many things to visit around. Beautiful landscapes. Leisure and cultural activities are very interesting and at disposal.

We stayed here for three nights. The highlight for me was the pool - definitely a 10/10. We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night in the outdoor restaurant - food was good as were the waiting staff. Our room was nicely decorated with a balcony. A little noisy as it faced the main road, and the shower was...

Worst experience of my life. You can't bring food to the room and if the staff will see that you eat in the room you will pay 90 euro for extra cleaning .Be aware! Restaurant is very expensive but if you not want to pay extra 90 euro you must eat there. The w.c. exist in the parent room !!!!...

What I liked: - Good location next to the castle of Chenonceau - 5-minute walk, (however, keep in mind, that even the park is closed at night most of the year and you won't be able to walk there in the evenings). However, there are the vineyards not so far from the hotel and the village is charming and you...

Unfriendly reception, no help with the luggage, outdated room in poor shape, A/C not working, smells from the kitchen. Clearly not to be recommended. There are probably better choices just across the street, and if you don't find anything there, I'd recommend to stay in another town.

We stayed 3 nights at this wonderful, very reasonably priced hotel. The room was one of the larger ones on our 3 week trip to France. We were happy to have air conditioning, as the temperatures got into the 90s during the day. The room was quiet, even though it was on the main street. The breakfast was fine. We...

la Roseraie doesn't 'put on airs'; it welcomes you with comfort -- and common sense. My wife and I arrived by bicycle on a trip thru the Loire for a 2 night stay. Unfortunately, my wife had taken a tumble a few miles earlier with a 'curbed wheel'; as we arrived she was showing evident scars. The lady at reception...
