This small hotel is run by two lovely women who take turns at the reception and dining room. I stayed there for one week, and found it absolutely charming. The staff went out of its way to accommodate my various requests. Think family-owned place, with all the flexibility this entails: I could help myself to utensils from the kitchen, use... More

This hotel was within walking distance of the train station. It is also close to the cathedral and walking distance from Rue Colbert where many restaurants are located. It is clean, well furnished and the owner is a very nice, helpful woman. Breakfast was very reasonably priced, with a variety of items on the buffet. We would definitely stay there... More

This house was sympathetically converted keeping its old world charm and elegance. The rooms are well proportioned with high ceilings and carved cornices. The beds were comfortable and the sheets of good quality. The service was excellent.

This is a great hotel but I would definitely recommend you ask for a courtyard facing room! The staff are really friendly and helpful. Great to be able to park in a private courtyard and really convenient location for exploring the city. However if it is hot and you have a room which looks out over the street, you will... More

I stayed in Hotel du Manoir during choir festival. Hotel has ideal location in the centre, almost everywhere you can walk within15 minutes. The rooms are slightly smaller, for one person absolutely OK, for two it could be very small....but I think this is usual in France. There is free Wi-Fi, but you have to log in over and over... Lovely, friendly people and super clean but spooky a little for me by a diabolically difficult wifi service. I have family in two other countries at present so it is very important for me to be able to communicate - this hotels wifi when it worked once was great but for most of the time I wasn't connected to the... Dear Geoff, thank you for the feedback. We are sorry you experienced troubles with the wifi, it usually connects fine (if only with a few more steps for Apple devices, and reception is always happy to help). We will however send notice of your troubles to our internet provider. We are glad to see aside the wifi, you enjoyed the... More

I stayed here 3 nights solo and for the price it was great. I was overlooking the courtyard, had a very comfy double bed, decent size bathroom w bath. It is VERY clean and the staff very friendly and welcoming with no issues with English. A special thanks to Aerelie on reception who went out of her way to ensure... More

Dear Allison, thank you for your feedback, this is great to know you enjoyed your room and your stay here. I am glad I could be of assistance and hope you could find the wine tour you were hoping for. This would be a pleasure to have you here again for another visit of the region. Aurélie More

We found this hotel on tripadvisor as the 2 nd hotel in Tours. We had not checked if there was an airco in the rooms as we thought that could be expected in Tours. But we didn 't have one ,so we had to sleep with the windows open. As the ( small ) room was on the streetside, we... More

I am sorry to hear our hotel did not give you satisafaction. Unfortunately, the building is in a protected area of Tours, so an airco is not an option. We are actively researching solutions but to no avail for now. As for the noise, we have a few quiet rooms on the courtyard side, that can be asked for while... More

We stayed for one night here starting our Loire biking trip. Really cute little hotel, inexpensive but did not have air con. Walls were quite thin. Old town and restaurants as well as the train station are within walking distance.

Good very basic hotel. Definitely within walking distance of Gard du Tours as well as the Cathedrale. Limited parking available at a cost of 7 euros a day, but we learned the hard way that you need to book in advance. Don.t bring a big car. The gate limits the ease of access. Breakfast is continental style only and come... More
