Well located hotel near the railway station in Tours. Our room was on the 6th floor and was large, clean and quiet, an important factor as the hotel is located between the railway line and a busy road. The real disappointment was the awful food at breakfast. This is sadly typical of group meals as the breakfast menu offered to...

Nice and central hotel with parking. We e mailed the hotel and they reserved a disabled parking spot for us prior to arrival. We were upgraded to a privilege room as a Accor Platinum member. The room was lovely, clean and large. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities were very...

Bog standard and typical Mercure. We had an upgraded room on the 8th floor. Reception were friendly as were the staff in the breakfast room. Breakfast was perfectly functional but nothing to relish. I wouldn't feel very safe walking about at night as it is near the station. Safe underground parking but tricky to find as the sat nav takes...

I stayed here for a business trip. It is a very convenient location, close to the train station. The room is nice enough. What you would expect for a hotel in this price range. But there hasn't been any wifi for 2 days. No one at the desk seems concerned.

Dear M. E. Mark We are very sorry regarding the problem with the wireless. We do feel concerned and as I told you when you checked in, there is a problem of maintenance on the system for 5 days. We cannot do anything, except apologize and try to offer solutions. Because you were here (and still are) for 4 days,...

We stopped at the Mercure center in Tours a few times on our way to and from the south of France. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a few minutes from the motorway and walking distance from the center of town. Travelling with two small children (and a cat), we have always found their connecting rooms very convenient. The...

One night stop in this hotel as we travelled as a family through France. Perfect location close to train and tram station, just off main road so easy to find, off road parking, lovely helpful staff and clean hotel. We had a connecting room so the kids had the twin room section with separate bathroom and we had the double...

Staff excellent. English support great. Double glazing means street and train noise a minimum. Off street free parking. Towelling gowns provided with extra towels and slippers. Close to central station and centre of town. Well done!

This is the best hotel we've stayed at during our month in France. We were hesitant to stay here as the location is a little off-putting (near a train station and an unattractive street) but the wonderful reception we received by Emily and the manager, Julie, set the stage for a delightful stay. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed...
