We have been coming here for 14 years! The owners are great as are the accommodations. This is your home away from home! Breakfast is excellent and varied each day. You also have access to a full kitchen to cook a meal yourself.

I love these people. Welcoming hosts, with great local knowledge. they really want you to get the most from your visit. Eric spent a long time sharing with us sharing local tips, and fixed us up with his friends who were champagne producers for private tours. It was excellent. He served fantastic breakfasts, including a cake for my 30th birthday,...

We spent there six day. The place is charmy on the champagne Hills near a wood. The owners are very nice . We had a problem with the car and Eric took us to the mecanic and to rent a car. The breakfast is delicious.

We had a wonderful time with Sylvie and Eric. They are delightful. This is village living, not a country manse. Eric took time in the afternoon to escort us to a couple of locals who were pressing their just harvested grapes. One was using a press from 1869. We sampled the just pressed grape juice as well as champagne from...

We stayed in clos Jacquin for 3 nights. Located in Avize, it is a quiet 1 bedroom townhouse in a nice village. The bedroom's French doors open to vines of chardonnay lined up 1m away. Clean and with all facilities it is a great spot to visit the champagne region.

My wife and I stayed in early October, 2013 with Eric and Sylvie in their Cramant home. Every morning we enjoyed a great breakfast and then Sylvie would spend all the time necessary to take out a map and give us suggestions of where to venture out for the day. After four days we felt like family and while I...

We arrived here straight from a long drive after arriving at Calais. Eric was a charming host and the house situated in the forest was fantastic. Our three children loved all the space to play outside and inside. The rooms were very spacious and it felt very much like being in someone's home - even down to the children's library!...

Despite the experience of other travellers we booked for one night on a Friday and so much enjoyed our stay, we extended it for an extra night. It is true that Eric and Sylvie's home is "cluttered" and although this would not be our taste, their collections were eclectic and interesting and added to the atmosphere. Our room was huge,...

We were so disappointed with the accommodation having read some rave reviews and it being recommended by Alastair Sawday. Being in the champagne area and the book mentioning champagne reception, that was what we expected but nothing. I'm sorry but we have nothing good to say about this place except that the host is really nice and helpful. The bedroom...

This was the second time I've visited Erik and Sylvie and the 3rd for my in-laws. They greet you like old friends and there is nothing they won't do for you. They will happily spend an hour recommending where to go and what to see. Either at their main property in Cramant or their beautiful place in Avize, you will...

“Cramant is right in the heart of the Champagne region and especially during the grape harvest it is a beautiful sight. Their property had Wifi, but only in a little common room you could use, frankly we thought that was great as it kept us from spending too much time on the internet!”

“We only saw our room which was spacious, fascinating and airy. The bathroom was private but accessible by a short corridor from the bedroom and a step. The toilet was in a separate room off the bathroom. The room was at the top of a steep flight of stairs.”
