We stayed for just one night in August on our way down to the South of France, with our little dog. The room was in the main house and wasn't cheap but, as always you get what you pay for and it was a beautiful room. The staff were extremely polite and friendly (this is not always the case in...

The most wonderful accommodation experience in France, if not all of Europe. The previous American reviewer has missed the point...Chateau Les Crayeres is worth every Euro for its beautiful rooms, its history and its superb champagne paired with the creativity of the Michelin-star chef Philippe Mille in Le Parc restaurant. The champagne trolley here must be the finest in the...

We got to the hotel today around 12:00 just in time to get lunch prior to going to a wine tour that the hotel had arranged for us. We only had one choice because the more casual hotel was booked that is on their property. So they said we could eat in their other restaurant for lunch and order one...

I have been prompted to write this review because I have just rebooked and realised I hadn't reviewed from our last stay. We stayed last December (2013) on our way to Switzerland skiing, we had the most wonderful experience, from the moment we pulled up outside, when our bags were whisked away & our car parked for us, to when...

Location: Top. Very conveniently located in a gorgeous private and quiet garden yet close to the main "Maisons de Champagne"'s caves and town centre. It is a great hub to do champagne tasting and walk back without driving. It is also perfect to visit the town and the neighbouring Champagne villages. The hotel: Excellent but lacking SPA and Sport Facilities....

We stayed for two nights at the end of June in a Barone room in the castle overlooking the back garden. It truly is one of the best hotels in the world and well worth splurging for one or two nights. You do not need to spend a fortune at their Michelin restaurant, a short walk in their grounds leads...

We stayed at Les Crayeres as a 1 night splurge during our 1 month tour of Europe and it was a definite highlight for us. We wanted a couple days of luxury and of course champagne and that is exactly what we got. We stayed in an Imperatrice Park View room (number 17) and having just been to Versailles we...

This chateau is incredible. Right when you drive up there is a huge wow factor. The staff were incredibly friendly. We had a mix up at one of our champagne tours, which was our fault and they quickly fixed the problem. The rooms are beautiful, including the bathroom which had a glorious bathtub. We also had a beautiful view of...

I stayed at the room 'Chambre Comtesse' in this chateau hotel with my wife only for one night. The day was my wife's birthday, and I would like to have a special day for her. As expected, the room was decorated for the aristocracy hundreds years ago while the room was very clean. From the balcony, we could see the...

We reserved a room that was not top top price wise, thinking that for one night we don't have to spend an enormous amount of money, but still wanting to be in this hotel. We were not disappointed, the room on the top floor, nr 21, was big, well appointed, beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, harmonious hues of grey and well...
