Friendly staff and the good location make this a good choice for a stay in Bastia. It's about 6 minutes walk from the commercial harbour where the ferries dock, about 12 minutes from the old harbour, which is a great place to eat or have a drink and a few minutes from a car rental office and the bus stop...

I stayed here twice, on my first and on the last day of my holiday in Corsica. The hotel location is ideally, within few minutes by foot from the ferry, bus or train station, very close to the old city center. Clean and comfortable rooms, which are pretty small, but have a spacious balcony, that most guests probably prefer instead...

We stayed here at the start and end of our Corsican cycling trip, really helpful and friendly owner. Hotel provides what you need, Wi-Fi (bit clunky, needing new password every day), comfy bed, very clean & a reasonable shower, oh, and air-con !. Very handy for the main part of the town new port, and 10 mins from the best...

Hotel Bonaparte is a great find. The stairs to reception are not too difficult - any reasonably fit person will have no difficulty. The rooms are spotless and very quiet. The breakfast is served, not in your room as may have been in the past, but in a small area next to reception. Very pleasant. This a great value hotel....

The hotel was clean, pleasant and quiet, with a night porter on duty throughout the night. It was easy to find, driving straight off the ferry at 8pm after a 7 hour crossing. There was no lift, only a flight of stairs to reach the front office, which was a bit of a challenge for me with my 20k bag....

We booked Bonaparte as we could see it was walking distance from ferry and an easy walk to station. It offered much more. Our room, complete with balcony was spacious and had a sitting room attached. Very clean and decorated with interesting Napoleonic art. What really made our stay though was the helpful staff. I suffered a fall and found...

We stayed here for one night prior to returning home from a week's holiday in Corsica. The hotel was well located for exploring Bastia and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and spoke perfect English) and immediately offered us a map of the town along with advice on where to roam. The only...

Very friendly and helpful owner. Clean, comfortable beds, aircon that works and central location, all for a reasonable price. We asked for a quiet room and were given one. Also just above the best ice-cream cafe in Bastia (possibly in Corsica!).

The hotel is fairly basic and up a few steps. However, the staff, location, breakfast, cleanliness and general feeling of being very welcome were great. It is in the centre of Bastia, the bus from the airport stops just around the corner. Our bus driver was a gem and dropped us a few feet away from stop at the end...

What a lovely hotel in a lovely town! The entrance to the hotel is small and the stairs are steep to the reception and rooms. However after that initial effort, it was very much worth it! We received a lovely and warm welcome. One of the staff helped us to our room. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There...
