Like most of Paris hotels, the rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and the shower is very warm. It is a very quick walk to lots of restaurants and Notre Dame so a great location. There are loads of facilities here but the staff were very welcoming and a great base for getting out about and exploring this...

This hotel would not suit everyone but we loved it. Authentic and individual. It was typically Parisian. The rooms were very individual and quirky, the location very central and the hostess/staff so warm and welcoming. The street itself had some interesting bars and eateries and I found the Shakespeare Book Company for the first time. Well worth a visit. If...

I had the chance to spend a weekend in Paris and wanted to stay in a hotel that was close to the city center but not crazy in price as I was traveling on business. A friend recommended this hotel because of its proximity to Notre Dame and the St Germain shopping district. I took the subway train to the...

The hotel is in a perfect location, just around the corner from Notre Dame de Paris. It is easy to find and the metro station St. Michel is very near. So it is very easy and quick to come from the airport (just take RER B, and you will be there in 45 minutes). The reception is very modern and...

What a charming boutique hotel on the left bank! The rooms were tiny and cozy but clean and adequate. I think the highlight of the room is the amazing jetted tub lit from the bottom. Soaking in the tub eased away all my aches and pains after a long day of walking all over the city. However, its highlight is...

Spent four nights in this charming hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Very relaxed atmosphere with quirky but cool touches in the reception & breakfast areas. Great location in the centre, near Notre Dame, just off St. Germain, close to the Mubert Mutualite Metro and easy walking to the Seine & Ile Saint Louis. Recently renovated, and although the...

Stayed in July 2015. What a fantastic location - close to night life and a stones throw from Notre Dame Basilica. A very quaint boutique hotel. Yes small rooms - to be expected in Paris - but big enough for two large suit cases. Great air conditioning! Did not have a tub but shower had hot water and pressure. Super...

We choose this hotel because of its location. Notre Dame is just few mins walking distance from the hotel. Once can also cross the river and go to the other side. The nearby areas give you the best feel of Paris & the lifestyle of people living in Paris. There are a few good restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc nearby so you...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights, and it was a great location! The hotel is right next to Notre Dame, tons of restaurants, and the metro/RER. We never ate breakfast at the hotel as there were tons of little boulangeries (including Eric Kayser) down the street. This would have been just a standard 3 star hotel, but...

We spent 3 wonderful nights in this small, friendly and quirky Paris Hotel. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. Our room was lovely. Spacious, spotlessly clean and very stylish. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower room had enough space for our needs. The other great thing about this Hotel is the location! Within 1...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
