This hotel is really charming, starting from the entrance all the way to the rooms. Granted the rooms are quite small so if you're a family I would imagine this wouldnt be ideal. Close to the hotel there's a variety of restaurants and shops, and if you're willing to walk then any direction will lead you to a landmark. The...

Thank you for your opinion. Breakfast is optional and "a la carte". We believe that the pricing is very competitive knowing that you have endless coffee available and it starts at 7 € ! We are sorry to read that the bed did not meet your standards : it is a "Synchroflex" technology with memory matress, very cosy not hard...

We spent only one night at this boutique hotel but found it to be charming, welcoming and very comfortable. The staff made all of the difference: they were exceptionally helpful, friendly, and fascinating people. I got up especially early on our departure day to discuss poetry and literature with the night manager, Gino. Later, we discussed mountain climbing and life...

This was my second stay at the hotel. The staff are unfailingly friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very easy to get to from Gare du Nord (RER to Port Royal) and then a short walk. It is also in close proximity to Luxembourgh Gardens... and this time of year it was simply beautiful. I highly recommend a stay...

We stayed on the 4th floor of this sweet, stylish hotel in the Remington (as in typewriter) room. It had a big jacuzzi style bathtub right in the room, a pleasure for the footsore--though one must be careful as there is no tub enclosure and you can easily splash water around. Quiet room, comfy bed, super friendly staff: we loved...

We stayed at the Apostrophe for three nights over the Easter weekend. The hotel is small, very well kept, very clean with a lot of attention to detail. Location: 5 minutes walk from the RER station Port Royal, which is around 30 mintes from CDG airport if you catch an express train. Just off the Luxembourg Park, it is ideally...

Extremely stylish little hotel, perfectly located close to the metro and many restaurants. As others on here have said, the rooms are small but this doesn't detract from their charm! The showers are something special! Very friendly and helpful staff. We'd definitely come again.

this was one of our best paris experiences...centrally located in montparmasse, the location cannot be beat for the price. the room was small, but we were on the highest floor of this boutique hotel and could glimpse the eiffel tower from the windows, great views! the room, albeit small, was very comfortable and the shower was exqiusite and modern. i...

I stayed at Apostrophe during February.  The rooms are very small - but the attention to detail is great.  The bathroom, shower, products, linen - all really high quality.  It's easy to find, and close to some great places to eat & drink.

We had a great stay in room D. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions for places to eat. The night attendant was particularly nice and full of suggestions. Try le cottage for dinner during your stay - it's across the street. We had a wonderful dinner. The location is also excellent. It's close to the metro and...

Really tiny rooms. Artistic but barely enough space to get around. Good point was the free wifi but for the price, charging for breakfast felt a little like overkill. Location was good, near metro and the RER station. But coming from Rome where we got really outstanding service, the lack of basics (at least to us) like free tea/coffee making...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
