We enjoyed our two-night stay here. The hotel is pretty quirky and the staff is friendly. The location is excellent: close to two major train stations and the metro (Line 8). There are a couple of major landmarks within walking distance. Despite being next to a bustling neighbourhood, the hotel itself is fairly quiet (we were on the fourth floor).... More

The hotel is easily accessed since its near the metro ( subway train ) . The hotel staff Lorna who greet us was friendly and helpful , she showed great hospitality during our visit. The room interior itself is thematic , if you're like standard room it might not the best option for you . Room hygiene was good. They... More

Nice, clean hotel in a great location! The hotel is small and doesn't have a restaurant but is perfect for a just couple of nights. Would return although some paint work etc could do with tidying up and there is no coffee/tea/water provided in rooms.

Room was small but well maintained. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Full, filling breakfast. The reason I was put off was due to the obvious prostitution in the area, found that quite uncomfortable.

Chanced upon this hotel through great reviews and a reasonable price, especially for Paris. The location was fantastic, about 15 minutes (walking) East, West, South and North of some main tourist areas and great cafes. From the Notre Dame to The Louvre via Rue Clery, to Sacre Coeur via metro, to Galaries Lafayette and the Opera Palais Garnier walking. Also... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
