Located just off Avenue Gobelins, 100 metres from Les Gobelins Metro, 250 metres from Place d'Italie Metro, close to local shops, restaurants, bars etc., yet quiet and peaceful. Helpful and friendly staff, rooms clean and serviced daily. If travelling by motorcycle as we did, there is choice of free parking very nearby.

Firstly the negatives. Damp in the room; toilet door didn't close let alone lock, leaving a nice sound and odour for everyone else. Mould on the wall by the window; no tea, coffee, iron, or anything you might find as standard elsewhere in the room. Sink gurgled harshly every time anyone flushed their loo on our side of the building;...

For 20 years, my husband has been staying at this hotel when he is in Paris. I also like it because it is in such a good location near to 2 metro stations. It is a traditional basic hotel but the staff speak good English which is important as I dont speak French. The staff is also very helpful, so...

Avoid at ALL cost! Granted, they just took over a few months ago, but they wont't be able to transform this old structure, and the staff is already detestable. Cheap, but not worth half of the money they ask !!

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend who lived in Paris for a year and we were really happy about that. The problem in Paris is that you never know what you get for the money you pay. Here it is a bed in a decent very basic room with bathroom and TV in a quite location for...

I was out most of the time. Hotel simple, not bad price to be in the centre of Paris, and breakfast not included. Also, Wi-Fi is not free, so I had to go out and find a place where to use it. But there is a McDonald's in Place d'Italie, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Finally, I was...

The hotel is very well situated, only 1 block from Gobelins Metro station and many restaurants nearby, as well as services such as grocery store, dry cleaners, etc. The room is very basic, but who wants to stay in their room in Paris? Very clean and well maintained. Opted out of the 8.00 euro breakfast so cannot comment on that....

The hotel is ideally located in a quiet environment. Metro station is very close. Staff are cordial and welcoming. I have stayed here a couple of times and it is a good hotel.

I have been there many times. It is a simple hotel but clean and it is run by a family. The neighborhood is pretty good. No facilities but a nice cost/benefit. Mr Antunes
