We spent just one night in Paris this time and I wanted a safe bet. Being an IHG loyalty member It seemed a good option to get a HI in a central location.
This was a great choice and I heartily recommend it.
Visited 16 May for 4 nights. Room 602, the room with a shared lobby mentioned in other reviews. Sharing the lobby made no difference to our stay and we did not notice anything different from sharing a typical hotel corridor. The room is compact, as...More
This is my second stay at this great hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the executive suite is roomy for a hotel in Paris. Within easy walking distance of great dining options, shopping, and, of course, Notre Dame, I have to say this...More
Full disclosure on the reviews I post for most of my Holiday Inn stays; for vacation travel, I use my IHG Priority Points, so in effect I am staying for “free”. On the one hand, I may be less critical because I am not paying...More
I booked this hotel after reading the Tripadvisor reviews. The reviews stated that the location was great, but this was the understatement of the century! The hotel is very easy to get to; we traveled through to Paris from London on Eurostar and you can...More
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this
area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
It is not free. We opted to use a company called BT-Transfer. They met us at the airport armed with our name on a sign. Very professional; we were pleased with the service. We had an empty fridge in the room.
