The hotel is in a great location, just across the street from the Louvre Museum. It is not a new building, but if you like vintage (but immaculately preserved) buildings, this should be your cup if tea. The hotel is also being renovated it and...More

We stayed at the Hotel du Louvre using Hyatt points for its location.
The location across the Louvre is ideal and the room was fine and as expected for the standard of hotel.
I would, however, avoid the hotel during the renovations until 2018 as...More

I don't think the room we were in
was renovated; they had essentially blocked off half of the hotel (at least on the floor we were on). We saw no signs of the restaurant closing; that is where breakfast was served and at dinner it seemed to be crowded. The bar area was not serving drinks/coffee etc. but you could still sit in the area. Honestly there are so many choices to eat within 5-10 minute walking distance that if it were to close you could surely find something nearby.
