If you don't care about luxurious 4/5* hotels, this is a great place to stay. Budget travellers will love it. It's not really a hotel, not a convent, not a B & B . It's really cheap ( € 40 / night) You have a simple bedroom. The interior and furniture is old fashioned and shabby, but the bed &...

I stay here every time I'm in Paris. 40€ for a single room this year due to good exchange. Basic room, no frills, no backpackers running around. Very quiet and close to Arc de Triumphe. Major minus: no Internet access. Technically not a hotel, and not for everyone.

In the heart of the area near the Etoile this is a low budget place for travelers not looking for luxury or many amenities. It is run by a religious group but open to people of all faiths or none. Breakfast is just bread with jam and coffee so I would recommend paying a little extra for a room with...

We were looking for a budget and well located place to stay in Paris for a quick vacation and the Maison was a welcoming and very practical solution. At the time we stayed (May 2012), it was very quiet, so we had the corridor bathroom practically just for us.

I have use this place for the past 13 years for my single travels to Paris when i do not want to spend 150/180 Euros for lodging, need silence for sleeping and a immediate access to public transportation. First the skinny: . 36 Euros per person, 60 for double for an ultra simple room: beds (two small), table and chairs,...

Hi there, I made some enquiries on this. It is neither a tourist hotel nor a residence offering general accommodations, but rather a religious house, open exclusively to members of the « Association Maison Eymard. The membership cost is 7 $Es, payable when you arrive. Arrivals are not accepted on Saturdays and Sundays or holidays, except for priests, religious men,...

ASSOCIATION MAISON EYMARD: When I was planning my first visit to Paris - October 7 through the 15th - I was hoping to find a way to reduce the cost of accommodations which, as many know, can be quite significant in any large European city. Unlike Rome, Paris is not exactly overflowing with half empty convents with rooms to rent...

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighbourhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
