Hotel is nice and charming. Rooms are quite small and it can get a bit noisy outside. Breakfast are expensive so it is better eating out in one of the many local cafes. Most of the staff is friendly and the location is excellent.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience in our hotel! Double Superior rooms or twin rooms are a bit larger than standard or classic double rooms! We are waiting to welcoming you during your next stay in Paris. Best Regards,

If you are 3 persons and need a triple room this is hotel has a really nice triple. Very happy with the room layout, the bed, and the bathroom. Nice view into the square. Good location right around the corner from metro, shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, pubs. Friendly and very helpful reception staff. Everything about our stay in Le Clement...

Don't be put off by the 2-star rating. We've stayed at Hotel Clement over 10 times and have booked to return again. It's a great place to base yourself for a few days in Paris. Location can't be beaten. It's walkable distance of numerous good cafes and the top Parisien tourist attractions. It's close to several Metro stops. The best...

A little jewel - we booked the cheapest room and were a little squashed trying to find space for our 2 suitcases, but what did that matter, when it was such a delightful hotel, in such a great location and at such a comparatively reasonable price. The hotel staff were very helpful: welcoming us in, though we arrived around midnight....

Very nice hotel in the middle of Paris. Desk staff was friendly, attentive, and easy to communicate with in English. Room was ready on our arrival and was spotlessly clean every evening when we returned. There was a roomy closet where we could stash our things making the room less cluttered. iPad was easily connected with the WiFi signal. Morning...

Bit of a disappointment based on reading reviews. I feel like we stayed in a different hotel from the one written about in these reviews. Staff was ok but definitely not helpful & only morning staff was fluent in English. Breakfast was adequate but we thought it was over priced & found much better breakfast food away from the hotel....

I have been stayed in Hotel Clement with my family for the last five years. The crew is very kind, the room is clean, hot water, soap, towels, elevator, everything ok. The best location in the town. Everything you need is very close of the hotel. Metro, restaurants, McDonalds, bars, luxury stores, Jardin de Luxembourg, churches, Pantheon, etc. I'll be...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel (Le) Clement, and we were both very pleased with our experience there. We found all of the hotel staff to be professional, courteous, and helpful, which enhanced the quality of our six-night stay at the hotel. We opted for the larger room (Superior Double/Junior Suite) and we also had requested a...

Just finished a three night stop at this Hotel. It is in a very convent location. 20 minute walk to Notra Dame. We had a three bed room overlooking the street and it was perfectly comfortable. Rooms are usually small in Paris but this wasn't unreasonably so. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very cooperative. Two things that we...

This was a family trip to Paris (two adults, and two girls ages 18 and 20). I was looking for an affordable hotel in the heart of Paris. The hotel is in an ideal location if you would like to stay in the 6th arrondissement. I normally stay in the 5th arrondissement, but because my daughters were with me I...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
