The Champagne bar does help, but even without this extra, the Le Dokhan is one of those surprises. We were expecting a 'good hotel', but were very pleasantly surprised that on our second visit that the first one was no fluke...as good as the first one! Excellent staff, great location (shopping; sites; restaurants), and perfect size (80 or so rooms)....

Dear beejash, Dear guest, Thank you so kindly for being a loyal client of us and for your recent posting regarding your stay at the Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's. We were thrilled with the way in which you succinctly summarized Le Dokhan's strongest characteristics. Our first and unique Champagne Bar opened in 1997, but not only... the teams, location and...

I had contacted the concierge several weeks in advance for help with your recommendations and while he was incredibly accommodating, I didn't realize I would be charged a $50 euro booking few for most of them. Concierges in the US do not charge for their services, so this caught me very much by surprise. But, too be fair, he did...

Room: typical for Paris tiny room, but had a nice balcony. All furniture and appliances, bathroom are ok. Facilities: a vintage stylish elevator (worth taking a picture) that does the job, a cozy breakfast room, whole building decor is ok. Location: very good, in a quiet nice neighborhood while only a short walk away from Tour de Eiffel, Arc de...

I really enjoyed my stay in the small boutique hotel. It has lots of charm. Everyone complains about small rooms? You are in a capital city in Europe that is the way it is. You can upgrade to a larger room. Thank to all employees making our stay memorable. Especially to Elodie for making the stay special and Jean Philippe...

We prefer the Radisson Brand. They provide a 5 star experience for the 4 star price. The Hotel is a quaint little property, several short steps from the Trocadero Metro. Small rooms compared to most but comfortable beds, and great service and good food. As this was our first trip to Paris, our reference is only comparable to other Radisson...

This is a boutique, quiet property in the 16th. Lovely, but wish I'd read the reviews before agreeing to stay here. The neighborhood is upscale and charming, close to the Trocadero metro but otherwise far away from anything of interest. And while I'm used to the small rooms in Paris hotels, but I've never had to move two pieces of...

Met a friend at the Champagne bar. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The server was extremely knowledgeable about the champagnes on the list and about ones they hoped to have in the future. The Foie Gras Rillette was almost the highlight of the visit. Presentation is everything here.

Second time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone that wants charm in a quiet part of Paris yet close to the Trifle Tower. Service, staff, rooms and breakfast are all good, and an excellent choice of Champagne if you fancy a quick one before heading out for dinner.

Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's is truly recommended. I stayed there with my boyfriend in July. We felt welcome, got some tips for Paris and a map and they gave us umbrellas as it was raining. The room was beautiful and clean, bed was comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars and cafes. The location is close to Eiffel and...

Wonderful decor, wonderful staff - a wonderful jewel of a hotel. Especially loved the champagne bar and the lift (you have to discover it for yourself). Small hotel but all the better for that. Location of Hotel was great for the Arc and the Eiffel tower both within easy walking distance. We did not want to leave.

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
