Had a lovely night at this hotel, 1st class service from every employee we dealt with. Was given an upgraded room which was very nice with an amazingly comfortable bed, loved the big deep bath, free non alcoholic drinks from mini bar was a nice touch and a great spa within the hotel. All in a brilliant location

Our first visit to Pairs was a bit overwhelming so we went with the recommendations from our travel agent. We booked into the Scribe in paris and have to say it gets a 5 out of 5. We've been to Paris many times but this is our first time at the Scribe Hotel- This hotel is beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly but not overwhelming. We stayed in the Superior room, it was not that big but it's so well laid out that it did not feel small nor confined. Loved the comfortable bed...

We stayed 4 nights at the Scribe with our 8 and 6 year old. The concierge and staff were great- kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a real treat every morning. Also, the hotel's location was very convenient for site seeing, as it is in the middle of Paris. The rooms were modern but with great windows and architectural...

I am a frequent traveller to Paris but this is the first time I have stayed at the Scribe. I will certainly be back. The hotel is beautful and the staff could not have been more helpful. It is unusual to find a five star hotel that is five star quality throughout. The welcome from the concierge and reception team...

We went to Paris with our 4 yo son for the first time as a family, and this hotel made us welcome and looked after our every whim. Rooms are of a good size which is rarity in Paris and European centres in general, unless you pay crazy dollar, of course. But this hotel has it all, room sizes are...

A couple of months ago, my wife and I decided to stay in Paris for the weekend. After exhaustive research, I wanted to be in the middle of the city close to major attractions while not paying an arm and a leg. Hotel Scribe was the perfect little hideaway. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were accomodating in...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
